It just amazes me that all of us are sitting here, typing on the world's greatest research tool every created, and so few of us bother to take the time to do a little basic research! I always base my posts on researched facts... and not post picked-out-of-my-nose assertions, based on mere assumptions, that could be confirmed or falsified by a couple of minutes of Googling (Lately it's gotten harder to find useful data on Google, especially about this issue). Quite some time. The British did not just cut their colonies loose. In this case, the Republic of Kenya was declared on December 12, 1963 when they ratified their constitution by a 63% vote.

I see you are still spreading a falsehood despite having had the facts shown to you.

Kenya declared independence in 1963. They were not a republic at that time.

They declared themselves a republic in december of 1964.

This means that Kenya was not a republic, when this document stamped as "republic of kenya" was made.

Feel free to inspect the original constitution of kenya in 1963, and notice that the word republic does not appear anywhere in it.

Well, we will learn what we will learn (if this document is authenticated) and it is this:

Are we who we always believed we were, or are we now an official banana republic?

The thing that made this country unique to its time, and perhaps unique to all times is that ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL. The notion that regular citizens were equal to the rulers, in the eyes of the law, was positively revolutionary at the time.

This isn’t some third world rathole, where there are rulers and the ruled. In this country, a poor minority or single mom, or immigrant is SUPPOSED to have equal weight before a judge as anyone else. Period.

This is going to be our time to find out, perhaps. It’s on.

Six other Demorat Senators joined her in Co-sponsoring this Bill. One of the Co-Sponsors was B. HUSSEIN OBAMA, himself! This indicats to me that the RATSknew about this “problem”and were trying to eliminate it before it reared it’s ugly head. That is why they tried to prove McCain , the WAR Hero, would be ineligible by this “Stupid Rule” as well and hoped to get the Republican Backing to eliminate one more key facet of OUR CONSTITUTION!! The significance is that this push shows the RATS had somebody(HUSSEIN) they wanted to run and they knew from the start that the IDIOT was born in KENYA and was just as Ineligible to run as is Shwarzzenegger orHenry Kissinger or George SOROS!
