Seriously, those folks are awesome. They really do a phenomenal job of preserving life until it can be attended to by physicians.

However, there was a very disturbing scene-similiar to your facetious anecdote-that I witnessed with a homeless guy who most likely had AIDS, who was probably also an intravenous drug user, several years ago.

Wow, I go to the fireworks and we blast through 3000.

New topic: Stupid liberal women. (Of course, you may have covered this several hundred posts ago.)

At the Tacoma fireworks show last night, there were several political booths set up. I passed one that had a banner reading: "When Women Vote, Democrats Win". I was furious! Husband was very concerned... blood pressure was rising, possibly reaching max PSI. He dragged me away before I could confront the sweet young thing behind the table.

Made me so mad I made a beeline for the nearest GOP tent, where they were happy to slap candidate stickers all over me and give me a Dino Rossi for Governor bumper sticker to wave around.

Grrr!!!
