Who will guide you home? Why, the police of course. They have a bunk all picked out for you with a fetching gray, wool blanket....

I just knew I could count on you for genuine sympathy for my predicament.I do truly wish a manatee finds its way to pull you off the dock and into the great beyond....glug glug

It's coming together now...the boat was slush fund money you held back all the yrs from poor Juan and Miguel the shoemaker and laundry boy, who were the top sources of info for your Station section.Shame on you AC! They had 14 kids to support!

I'll give you my total sympathy on the wounded piggie.

During our recent ice-storm, I fell like a turd from a tall cow - splat! - somehow hyper-extending a great toe. That sucker looked like a ripe plum the next day and still hurts like heck.

Google informed me that I had a subungual hematoma and that the corrrect procedure was to make a hole in the toenail to drain all the blood. This sounded like a plan to me, so I heated a teeny drill and pressed on with it.

Tragically, I had waited too long from the time of the injury to the time of the drilling, and all that was gained is a nice round hole in the nail.

Best of luck with your injury.

Have a super evening all - take lots of pics Gran.

Cheers!

No, but many times I know that I am dreaming.
Worst is when I'm wandering elsewhere (shaow walking) and bother someone. (My wife saw me standing next to the bed while I was away at Basic and A.I.T. at forst Sill. I was asleep at that point, yet dreaming of being next to my bed looking at her. She saw me, apparently, and freaked. Yet another reason people say I'm the devil. I'm not, but it's said.)

It isn't something I like to do, even if it's a natural outgrowth of any abilities one inherently has or is born with.
It borders on magic and I'm a stickler for 'rules', one of mine being that the use of magic of any kind is verboten. (My step-daughter dabbled in witchcraft and I forbade her to cast anything my direction. She asked why, I said "just don't do it." She did, and had a lot to say about the results on her end. Nothing happened on my end of things. I just don't like magic. It strikes me as dishonest. Step-child also accused me of being anatural at it.)

Here's my short description of a part of hell from a dream: There is flames, yes. Obviously. Yet there is shadow that no light can part, and the shadow is palpable. It moves and is felt. And fear is everywhere. It seeps from the rocks, and the ground, where there is ground. There are rivers of molten rock, and they're hot enough that rock melts to flow into it, like condensation. There are roads of beaten ash, and blackened ruins of no-one knows what everywhere. There is wind, stifling and choking, and sounds are carried on it. Mournful calls are everywhere. And a soul crushing melancholy sadness and fear are everywhere.

Probably my cheery home for eternity, the way things are going. ;-)

You're a damned liar AC.. You had me locked in that little cabin, and made me clean all the fish for hours and hours..

I did not want to bring this up my pirate wench but the cabin incident was for you own protection. You wanted to liberate that funny looking Salador Dali object. I would not risk life, limb and the good vessel "Lady Jane" to indulge your larcenous soul. In any event you could have fallen overboard and I would have had a lot to explain to habs and the others. They would never believe it was an accident.

This is the spot where the tanker "Mar Egeo" was wrecked and set on fire in La Coruña ten years ago.
