thank you Westy,
A pine tree, a fire, sunset, some marshmallows, some hot chocolate, a good sitting spot, some old books to read, a person could go to heaven and hardly know the change.

The picture was in our local newspaper this morning. This would not be shown in America as dead bodies are not allowed to be shown on TV or in the newspapers.

Israel responds to the lastest attack with an assassination.

Thanks AC - no, we sheep must be spared the reality of the world. Thanks for bringing it here.
Cheers!

Thanks AC.
The 9/11 broadcasts shipped out of America were also much different than the ones broadcast here. We can catch TV news from Mexico and that is much different in the world news that what is passed off as news here.
I'd say more but can't. Funny how that is.

Heck, eerie and surreal doesn't begin to describe the dreams I have.
Part of the reason I write such short stories. It's to get it out of my head.
Like: What if when you die, you really don't leave at all?
What if you're still there, yet horrifically unaware that you are in fact dead?
Or, alternately, aware of the fact and unable to communicate with those you'd want to talk to?
As far as the images of hell are concerned, I will bring no report to darken the light of day of anything I have seen in dreams.
I call the place Corsainn in my stories.
A place of unimaginable horror and terror.
Where even Balk'el himself would be terrified. (In the story, Balk'el is the analogy of the devil.)
I love old books, have an ancient leather bound bible in my possession. Brittle pages, fraying leather.
It's old, and I'm afraid of screwing it up. It's in need of restorative work, and preservative goo. The oldest book I've had in my hands was printed sometime around 1820.
Not sure what happened to it at the moment.
i might still have it. (It was a novel of some sort. Don't remember teh title offhand. I do remember that it was one of teh first serial novels.)

Don't you think the punishment you've dispensed to your svelte and nubile concubine has gone on just a bit too long?Untie her, ACe, and let her have some gruel and that dried heel of a loaf of bread. She promises she won't work for anyone else, anymore, and won't complain about the fringe benefits to the local competition either. You can trust her.
I can't, but you go right ahead ;-)
To: habs4ever; grannie9
Where the heck is Gran?
AC - free Gran now!
Give her a shoe and a shawl, or something please.

Some Dutch came over years ago and started it all...There is a Tulip Festival every year, usually in the spring. This year we have had a mild winter so things are early...We are finally getting snow up in the mountains so maybe the water shortage won't be to bad this summer...
