Hello and good afternoon....sunny and warmish and bright here in the Pacific Northwest today....all the more sunny for me, as BigDom is packing and preparing for his trip to Florida....

But he always gets squirrely just before he goes on a trip...starts hissing and pissing, and just acting weird(or weirder than normal)....the few days leading up to his trips, are always terrible....

The airporter bus arrives here tomorrow evening at 6:40pm...I wish it was coming at 6:40am, so I could get him out of here and on his way....

But tomorrow evening will be here soon enough, and once the airporter bus, toting BigDom along, leaves my driveway, I shall throw up a cheer, and have a drink, to celebrate...I love the big guy, but love my time away from him...

Dizzy will probably miss him more than I do...because when BigDom is around, Dizzy always looks forward to his petting session, when Dom returns from work at 5am....so when BigDom is not around, Dizzy takes to waking me up, around that time, to pet and play with him for a while....

Anyway, thats it from here this afternoon...getting ready to cook that Prime Rib dinner this evening, and the fat turkey is thawing out in the sink, and will be cooked tomorrow....(this leaves me with lots of leftovers, so while the BigDom is gone, my cooking chores will be at a minimum, thank goodness, I now have a slight reprieve from the stove)....

Thanks for the good wishes, for my two week vacation away from BigDom....I am so looking forward to it...

BigDom went to the credit union yesterday, to get his travelers checks, some cash, and my bankroll...so I have my money in hand, and am preparing to have a good time...

BigDom went out again, a while ago, for some last minute shopping for his trip...new suntan lotion, new shampoo, new deodorant, all new doodads....he likes to have his supply of new stuff....

I do plan to begin drinking heavily when he returns...I need strength to cope, until he is gone...

I just emailed the son, Andy, about how his dad is driving me nuts...I am sure Andy will get a kick out of it, and as he knows his dad so well, he will be able to picture it...

One time, BigDom was rambling on and on about something, and I was getting more and more exasperated...Andy was here, and he told Bigdom that he had better button his lip, as Andy put it, "I can see the smoke coming out of moms ears, shes getting ready to explode"....Kids do know their parents, very very well...

Good grief, BigDom just ran in the house now, hissing....he was supposed to take some papers into Kinkos, something to do with his retirement, and he forgot them, so he had to come all way back home, and of course, he acts like somehow its all my fault...never mind, that I wrote it down on his list, and put that list into his hand...so now he ran in, got the papers, and ran out again, all in a huff...

I think I need to start drinking now, that man is driving me nuts....

My dad can turn a 30 second report into a 30 minute story with so many twists and turns, and various rabbit trail side tracks, that I have to say, "Dad, what is the fucking bottom line on this?"
