Gorgeous pics today, Gran. Thank you. They remind me of a time before terrorist attacks and snipers on the loose.
The shooting last night was 20 minutes away from us, everyone here is numb and on edge at the same time. Going to the gas station this morning was an exercise in combat strategy, checking out the area before getting out of the truck, etc. Everyone there was acting the same way, getting back into their vehicles until the pump shut off, moving as quickly as possible.
It's difficult to care about what else is going on in the world with this situation right in our backyard. But I'm a tough broad, Gran, I'll survive. I hope.
I don't mean to be a wet blanket here, I know this is a convival thread. :-(

Valerie best watch out - you gals are gaining ground quickly. ;-)

You are no wet blanket hon.. I can't imagine how I'd feel living so close to that stuff.. Keep your chin up..and try to stay invisible.. I'm thinking of you all the time.. smoooooch.
To: grannie9
Thanks Gran, I really appreciate your kind words.
Big smooch back. :-)
