Opening day at Six Flags St. Louis ended in chaos after brawl with as many as 100 people broke out
Fox News ^ | 4/28/26 | Sean Joseph

Opening day at Six Flags St. Louis ended early on Saturday with police on the scene. They were called after multiple brawls involving as many as 100 people, most of whom were juveniles, broke out at the park.

This particular amusement park is one of seven properties that were recently sold by the main Six Flags company to a new owner, Enchanted Parks. There was apparently a need to set the tone early with the new ownership.

Park guests weren’t going to be waiting around until the blistering heat of the middle of the summer, with scooters everywhere you turn clogging up walkways, to let tensions erupt. This was going down on day one of the new season, in the spring, to get those expectations in the books.

Eureka Police Chief Michael Werges told First Alert 4 that officers responded to the scene quickly and were able to disperse the crowd before the chaos went any further. About a half a dozen or so juveniles were detained as a result of the fighting.

But, according to Chief Werges, there were no injuries reported and, thankfully, no damage done to the amusement park. Could you imagine a world where the park had to be shut down for repairs due to damage from an out-of-control 100-person fight on opening day?

That would be un-American. We have to have the freedom to overpay for entrance into an amusement park to then stand in long lines, sweat our asses off and eat garbage while dodging an unbelievable number of overweight people on scooters.

My favorite childhood memories are from Fontaine Ferry Park that was in Louisville's West End. That's where the blacks lived yet, Fontaine Ferry did not allow blacks.

Then, in 1960, they desegregated to keep up with the times. Blacks flooded in, started strong arm robbing patrons, getting into gang fights, stealing, etc. Fontaine Ferry was forced to cease operations in 1963.

We knew back then what we're up against, and times have only gotten worse.

Are whites even a plurality in America anymore?

White Population Percentage by Census Year

1920-1949: The white population remained around 90%

1950 - 89.5%

1960 - 88.6%

1965 - The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965 (Hart-Celler Act) becomes law abolishing the national-origins quota system in place
since the 1920s and shifting immigration patterns from Europe to Asia, Africa, and Latin America.

Democrat Senator Ted Kennedy states "The bill will not flood our cities with immigrants. It will not upset the ethnic mix of our society".

1970 - 83.3% (Non-Hispanic White tracking begins)

1980 - 79.6%

1990 - 75.6%

2000 - 69.1%

2010 - 63.7%

2020 - 57.8%

Any time its White people the media says: "WHITE WHITE WHITE....WHITE PEOPLE!.....HEY LOOK EVERYBODY! WE GOT US A WHITE BOY OVER HERE!!!!"

Anytime its Blacks they say "youths" or "teens" and they refuse to describe them.

And of course everybody knows instantly that its Blacks. Its not just that they do this. Its that they think ANYBODY is stupid enough to be fooled by it.

The day pass price is $60-90. Where do they come up with the money? Just rhetorical.

*waves from just south of Louisville, KY* Hey neighbor. Dunno if you've ever been in Caufield's Novelty downtown but they have a couple of the Fontaine Ferry animatronics on display. Also, you hear about the chaos on the Waterfront this past weekend? Yahoo News - 2 teens released from police custody after fights at Louisville festival Local news has been calling it something along the lines of "large groups of juveniles" Uh huh. They announced I think it was Mon the festival was gonna close 1 hr early every day this week, I know I'm not the only one that thought, 'Oh so the fights will start an hr early? Gotcha'

Same thing here in Gwinnett County, GA. They keep hiring DEI School Superintendents. I am so glad that my kids are out of the school system. Unfortunately I will be paying taxes until I can escape from Gwinnett.

Every year our 8th-grade graduating class got to go to Six Flags outside of St. Louis. We nearly always went on a day reserved for schools. Unless it was really hot or unusually cold, the kids and the teacher chaperons had a great time. Never saw fights, but the loud, obnoxious ones who cut lines with impunity were always the ‘teens’.

It’s not a bug - it’s a feature!

It’s called GhettoLand (tm) with live rounds flying through car windows and police stand around as if nothing is wrong. If you’re the wrong race, though, don’t stop at any of the restaurants.

Coming soon to Cincinnati.

I haven’t been back there since mid ‘90s. For a funeral. But my sources have told me the West End has extended all the way to the 2nd St. Bridge. (BTW, as a teen I used to walk back and forth from Jeff to LouAvul)

“Maybe there should be a ‘gang’ day.”

It’s all “Gang Day,” and in vast areas of the country. The article writer fails to understand that America no longer lives under the rule of law. Things that were 99.44% safe to do 20-30 years ago and no longer safe. Political rallies? Not safe. Large sporting events? Not safe. Amusement parks? Not safe. Mall food courts? No longer safe. Public transit? No longer safe. And it will get worse.

Thank the Democrats and especially Obama and Biden. Want a return to safe streets? Go to mandatory life sentences for the third felony conviction, capital punishment for gun crimes.

Hate to say it, but you're not missing much. Things have really gone downhill in Louisville, especially after the BLM/Breonna Taylor protests. My husband was working as a 911 calltaker during that time and those protests were starting maybe a block down the street at Jefferson Square. Not a fun time at all. Thankfully he was able to find employment elsewhere and we're much happier.

Its the main reason most malls have shut down since the 1990’s.

The Malco movie theatres did something similar when there was a riot outside their biggest theatre a few years ago here in Memphis. No one under 16 without a parent after 6 PM. No matter what movie.

They later made it a rule at all their theaters here in town.

Yes all the time. I think Nashville closed a waterpark because it happened so many times.

And you would be wrong. Many times they will show up in large groups at pools and run amuck. I remember this going back 50 years ago.
