Utah authorities questioned and released a person of interest in the shooting of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk Wednesday afternoon, according to state and federal officials. Kirk, a 31-year-old father of two, died from his injuries.
"The subject for the horrific shooting today that took the life of Charlie Kirk is now in custody," FBI Director Kash Patel tweeted Wednesday. "Thank you to the local and state authorities in Utah for your partnership with @fbi."
Earlier, he wrote that the "subject" was in custody, and Republican Utah Gov. Spencer Cox referred to a "person of interest in custody."

And everyone is assuming it was precise, that he/she/it was aiming at the neck.
Could also have been aiming at center mass and missed by 10 inches and caught the neck by accident.

200 Yards is a pretty short distance, before my eyes went bad I could have done it with a pistol.
Most likely the shooter was trying for a head shot, but the artery is what he got.
So he succeeded despite nearly missing.
Most deer rifles are zeroed at 150-200 yards, I’d wager. Hold on the necktie knot. You can be pretty far off in your range estimation, but six inches, high or low, is still lethal.

Watched John Solomon on RAV & there is a possibility that the round hit Charlies vest which he was wearing and ricocheted into his neck, that is why people see his shirt move during the shooting.
Yup...seems planned...I would guess that multiple cell phones were being used...if the cops know the position of the phones could they triangulate the direction of the sound of the gunshot? Most likely the slug traveled faster than sound, so the sound would have been heard after the shot hit Mr. Kirk. Could there have been a purposely set sound speaker emitting sounds which eyewitnesses could confuse as shots?
This whole thing sounds like a planned assassination with multiple murdererous people. Maybe that’s why police/FBI are quiet as they tract down multiple leads. Need some legit. bounty hunters, and PI’s here.

No, this will rot your brain and you will delve into an abyss if you watch this over and over. You will be desensitized to the horror. For the love of Charlie and his family, at the very least censor the brutality.
200 yards is not a shot a random person with a little bit of practice can just go out and do on the spur of the moment. It takes a good deal more experience than that.
Check the local FBI office. see who’s missing. or who smell like cordite.
