Watched John Solomon on RAV & there is a possibility that the round hit Charlies vest which he was wearing and ricocheted into his neck, that is why people see his shirt move during the shooting.
Speculating it was a 6mm, 6.8mm or 7,62mm round. Without knowing what type armor he had.... ricochet seems unlikely. Spalling would occur from a hit that mushroomed a round. It wouldn’t take a very large piece of the bullet jacket slicing the carotid to be life-threatening.
