Pennsylvania Democrat state senator Lindsey Williams gave controversial testimony at the state capitol on Wednesday while opposing a bill that would ban trans athletes from girls sports.
Williams, in prepared remarks ahead of the committee vote on the Save Women’s Sports Act, suggested that female athletes are physically comparable to male athletes, and don’t face biological disadvantages.
“I want all girls to know that there are elected officials like me who believe female bodies are just as strong and fast and capable as male bodies,” Williams said. “I want all girls to know there are elected officials like me who would never underestimate your ability to beat a boy at their own sport, because that’s what the premise of this bill assumes, that female bodies are less than male bodies, that girls are at an automatic disadvantage, and can’t possibly compete against boys. Even though girls do it every day.”
Williams also went on to suggest that the issue of biological males participating in girls and women’s sports is a “made-up issue.” […]
Williams’ argument that females are physically “just as capable” as males has been disputed by experts.
Dr. Debra Soh, author of “The End of Gender,” previously discussed the biological differences in an interview with “Fox News Primetime” in 2021. “Individuals who are born male are on average larger, stronger and faster than individuals born female. And even those trans individuals who are on hormone therapy — so they are suppressing testosterone or on estrogen therapy — this does not override that structural foundation. It also does not change muscle mass or muscle strength after a year being on hormones, typically the guideline used for many sports. But I would argue it does not override the advantages that someone has from being born male. It’s not fair. …”

Then why is a men’s track world records much faster than women’s?
Government skulduggery run amok in guise of protecting rights
So, the word “controversial” now means “insane.”
“to beat a boy at their own sport”
This means beat boys at boy’s sports. Virtually no girls try to compete with boys. Progressives have a real problem with reality. She just mad that the they/them...you ad was so effective.
I agree with her. So eliminate all girls/womens sports entirely. The women can play in the NBA instead of having their own WNBA. Problem solved.
Enough with all of this crap. Cut to the chase.
Introduce a bill to do away with Title IX. Put these lame brained trannyphiles on record for either supporting women or not. If they can’t figure out what a woman is, then there is no need to differentiate.
Now, to the rest of the sane people here, Title IX has done great things to promote athletics for everyone. It has also opened the door to a higher education for millions.
This senator, Lindsey Williams, whoever he she or they is, should go sit in a corner and play with itself.

What I didn’t see mentioned is that when you’re talking about women’s sports in colleges that normally means elite athletes. There is no comparison between elite men and elite women in sports, men easily decimate women. But some women can occasionally beat mediocre men.
You mention WNBA. Was watching an NCAA women’s game and just imagining any 16th seed men’s team stepping in for one side or the other. Would be a bloodbath. The ladies might get a few 3s but most of these would be blocked.
Here is a question that I would like asked of these evil folks
Name any “trans-male”(biologically female), who holds any male record, hell even a trans-female hold the “female “ record on Jeopardy 😂
Telling lies when people can see the truth with their own eyes on a daily basis. How stupid can you get?
Then why have women’s sports at all?
The DemocRAT war on reality continues...
