Dark matter could be the result of fermions pushed into a warped fifth dimension. This theory builds on an idea first stated in 1999, but is unique in its findings. Dark matter makes up 75 percent of matter but has never been observed ... yet. Scientists say they can explain dark matter by positing a particle that links to a fifth dimension.
While the “warped extra dimension” (WED) is a trademark of a popular physics model first introduced in 1999, this research, published in The European Physical Journal C, is the first to cohesively use the theory to explain the long-lasting dark matter problem within particle physics.
Our knowledge of the physical universe relies on the idea of dark matter, which takes up the vast majority of matter in the universe. Dark matter is a kind of pinch hitter that helps scientists explain how gravity works, because a lot of features would dissolve or fall apart without an “x factor” of dark matter. Even so, dark matter doesn’t disrupt the particles we do see and “feel,” ...

Behind an Arby’s ? LOL
That’s a good summation of string theory. Thanks for posting
Let the Sunshine in!
The whole dark matter issue is a convoluted attempt to force inexplicable findings into the standard model. Physicists do not want to upset that apple cart by admitting their current understanding of gravity is deficient and not working out. This is indication of a long lasting paradigm in trouble.
I got more than enough Kenny Rogers in this dimension.
...
Alright, he was the First Edition and Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis Jr. were the Fifth Dimension.
Still, I got more than my fill already.
Because dark matter varies inversly with the potential for kids on the lawn.
Is Marilyn McCoo in there?
And totally integrated with the subject "matter" --

This story made a memory a long while back:
McCoo is married to fellow 5th Dimension bandmate Billy Davis Jr. On July 26, 2019, they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary."Wedding Bell Blues" is a song written and recorded by Laura Nyro in 1966. The best known version was a number one hit for the 5th Dimension in 1969.
The lyrics are written from the perspective of a woman whose boyfriend has not yet proposed to her, and who wonders, "am I ever gonna see my wedding day?" The song carries dual themes of adoring love and frustrated lament.
The title subsequently became a popular phrase in American pop culture.

5th Dimension member Marilyn McCoo was then engaged to another member of the group, Billy Davis Jr., though they had not decided on an actual wedding date when the album was released in May 1969 . The first single released ahead of the album, "Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In", was a tremendous hit, while the success of the second single, "Workin' On a Groovy Thing", was much more modest. When a disc jockey in San Diego began playing "Wedding Bell Blues" from the album, Soul City Records saw the song's potential, and in September 1969 it was released as a single.
So-called “scientists” today do more nonsense speculation and call it “discovery” than has ever been done in the history of modern science.
“Dark Matter” is actually an admission that certain conclusions cannot be fully explained by known facts, so a fudge factor - like “Dark Matter” - is a stand in for “we really don’t know”.
She is definitely beautiful.
Relative to what? All objects in space are moving. You have to use time in additional to the other three.
They found it with the Moon in the 7th House and Jupiter was aligned with Mars.
That’s what scientists say believers do with G-d! Aristophanes, in Clouds, says that that’s what Sophists did with “The Void”. Geraldine Jones used “Da Debil” to justify her buying dresses. Michael Drosnin used space aliens to avoid saying that G-d devised the Bible Code. Who put the “bop” in the “bopababopbabop”? Who put the “ram” in the “ramadamadingdong”?
Well they did work for free for decades and decades while owning nothing and being treated horrifically.
Let’s make the distinction between nonsense like BLM and the HORRIFIC institution of slavery in America.
Along with the sadistic punishments if they tried to escape.
I agree with your assessment.
I can’t believe it took 4 replies! We are slipping here at FR!
Fifth dimension had a shelf of great songs.
Nothing says settled science like “pretty sure.” 😄
OW MY GOD!
