too many ghost posters on FR

Im not enjoying the free republic lime I used to. Too many newbies that are trolls, looking for someone to drag into their abyss of self hatred. Theres been a lot of posts linked to posters with no bios, I think admin needs to limit the number of posts or remove those without any bio info.

Read the articles, skip the comments. They generally don’t add anything productive to the conversation, and they haven’t for years.

FWIW I’ve been a member since the “Deep in the Huertgen Forest” days, when we took a shower if our biebers were stuned. The quality of posters dropped dramatically since those days. I really noticed it after Rathergate.

Free speech means freedom to post your opinions. Ignore them. I’ve learned that over time, they don’t bother me anymore. If they’re ignored, they go away.

If you want to know more about the posters on FR, anyone in particular...

just follow and read a bunch of their posts, for however long you wish...

and that should give you a much better idea about who they are and how they think, than any blurb they post in their bios.

It’s how the FBI does their research when they want to indict people for how they think or for what they do. The J6 people surely provided the FBI with enough online material to enrich or include in their indictments.

Ditto what you posted. Mercifully, swearing is still banned, but things get so nasty that most disagreements degenerate into foul-language personal duals way outside the issue at hand.

I am so sorry for your loss TJ.   We face our own mortality as the years add up.   My brother passed on at the same age that I am now but I am fifteen years older than my Dad was when he died.
