Im not enjoying the free republic lime I used to. Too many newbies that are trolls, looking for someone to drag into their abyss of self hatred. Theres been a lot of posts linked to posters with no bios, I think admin needs to limit the number of posts or remove those without any bio info.
Agreed. They may also be packing ghost guns. Drawing unwanted heat from the feds.
Why should I create a bio newbie?
They probably ARE feds.
Just like in China, USA's Dept. of Homeland security employees thousands and thousands of people to monitor and control web communications. No doubt a few are assigned here.
I have been on under two names for 20 years. My posts are filled with biographical information. Someone who wants to work for it can link my info with me, but I’ll be darned if I make the bots’ work that easy.

I hate to say but if you post a bio of any substance you run the risk of the trolls using your information to stalk you online or else otherwise use the information against you.
I used to have a bio on here but replaced it with an informative FR post after a troll tracked me down and started sending unwelcome “gifts” to my home.
In totally unrelated news it turns out that those anonymous Amazon gift cards aren’t all that anonymous after all.
Bio: I’m an old man who lives in a small city north of Boston. I had a kidney transplant in September. I was at a game at Fenway Park in 1967 at which the Sox executed a triple play: Foy to Andrews to Scott. And yes, I eat “chowdah” (clams in milk).
Because nobody trusts people that don't drink or post bios. You can do them together simultaneously. It helps.

I’ve been here, with the same handle, for almost 25 years. I do not intend to create a bio. I say “MYOFB” to those who say I should.
I’ve been here a long time. No bio, for good reason.

What are you, another leftist who wants to strip anonymity from the internet. I read your bio and it doesn’t say much so I would advise you that people who live in glass houses should not throw stones. Also bring a 4 year old Freeper really gives you no standing to complain about noobs.
