I hate to say but if you post a bio of any substance you run the risk of the trolls using your information to stalk you online or else otherwise use the information against you.
I used to have a bio on here but replaced it with an informative FR post after a troll tracked me down and started sending unwelcome “gifts” to my home.
In totally unrelated news it turns out that those anonymous Amazon gift cards aren’t all that anonymous after all.

Of course, nothing like that would EVER happen on FR.

I agree... Long ago, when I first started here, some people would use the info on your about page against you... Got stalked a few times and deleted my info....

About 2005 during the years of the W. Bush wars here, I had a full biography with my birth year, place of birth, etc...and people started using the info to mock my posts. I took it all down.
Are you saying a troll tracked you dawn after viewing your Homepage, and then sent you anonymous Amazon gift cards. And now you know who sent them?
