There is a report that China Telecom sold 80 millon mobile phone numbers to foreign telecom scammers. That is, they sold 80M otherwise legitimate phone SIM cards to Chinese scammers. These will be used in used in scam cell phone banks to scam people primarily in SE Asia countries.
In other news PRC citizens are panic buying salt because of a news item saying Japanese officials have approved the release of 30 million tonnes waste water stored at the Fukushima nuclear plant. There is evidently a rumor that layering salt on whole body will ward off radiation. If the CCP can't preserve the Chinese people the salt likely will.
Never mind that it will be released over the next 30 years and that the Japan current flows away from China.
Never mind that the release is approved as safe by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) .
Never mind that this is treated cooling water and that the only radioactive item released is Tritium.
Never mind that just TWO PRC reactors release more radioactive Tritium per year than all the Japanese reactors combined.
Japan is the CCP's number one, go to, boogy-man any time they want to stir up the populous and deflect attention from whatever else they are doing or has gone wrong.
So what is the PRC doing? They are banning the importation of Japanese seafood products. Are they going to keep up the ban for the next 30 years? I doubt it. Are they going to ban the importation of Pacific caught seafood from other countries or their own fishing fleet? Don't be daft. Of course not. The CCP elites like their sushi and seafood as much as anyone else.

I was hoping to get off with only one ping today. No such luck. These are mostly headlines without analysis. I just don't have enough information.

There is increased civil unrest in the areas of north China purposely flooded to protect Beijing and Tianjin. Villagers were offered relief funds of 1000 Yuan, about $137.00 US. There are increasing references that the CCP is treating its own citizens worse than Africans. Mind you, the Chinese are arguably the single most racist society on Earth. You are either Han Chinese or you aren't worthy.
Sichuan province has been hit by a series of devastating mountain floods and landslides. That's about all I have on that at the moment.
Beijing authorities have ordered the wholesale, uncompensated, relocation of businesses in the Chaoyang Industrial District to the less desirable Xiong'an New Area. This is about 60 miles SW of Beijing. Xiong'an is one of the notorious empty cities. I will report more on this as and if I find it.
