Most folks who now qualify as “seniors” are in the Veetnam/pre-Veetnam age group and very likely had a bit of military type training/experience. They didn’t get to dodge the draft. And most of us are in need of attitude adjustment if we want to get along with hippies, X’s, Z’s and the other breeds of dumbasses out there.

"Elite" used to mean something about skill, but no longer.
