Here’s an interesting data point.
Congress is in the process of approving/disapproving 87,000 IRS agents.
Did you know that the FBI was created in 1908 (Bonapart) through the simple hiring of employees through “payroll” money that was not being spent and was just lying around.
Since 1908, Congress has continued to approve the employee-payroll number ($$ value) for the FBI but has never been approved or codified the FBI as an “bureau” of the DoJ?
The FBI do not have, and never has had, a Congressional approval that mandates their existence or Constitutionally gives them the ability to seek warrants or make arrests.
We just accept their existence and assumed authority.

I’ve been asking myself the same question since I learned of their no-so-great reset. Who appointed them the guardians of the planet and why do their opinions about who should be on it matter more than ours?
As an aside, covid has reportedly hit my unvaccinated inner circle. One of my friends confirmed it with a home test yesterday, for what that’s worth, though he has felt sick with a low grade fever, a sore throat, trots and fatigue for four days now. No other symptoms. Since I‘ll be flying tomorrow, I started popping IVM like they’re tic tacs. I want to play golf and swim when I get there, not lay around in a hotel room.

You already said it - affection. Love can cause a bevy of emotions.
I remember the precise moment I became ferociously engaged in my son’s education. We were having our usual family dinner together and I mentioned that I’d finished my tax return and I owed a couple of thousand dollars. My son piped up “Paying taxes is good.” I felt my blood pressure go up, but I calmly asked “Why honey?” and he began to spout some socialist nonsense imposed on him by his male socialist teacher. From that night on, we had in-depth conversations about some of the stuff he was hearing in school and I gently offered alternative points of view more reflective of conservative values. I am now the very proud parent of a conservative son who may actually be more conservative than his Mom, even leaning towards red-neckery, in a good way.
The argument given by Rand is epistemologically sound. A is A. Rational selfishness is far superior to altruism. It can be proven metaphysically. It doesn’t matter that you don’t like it because the nature of reality exists whether you recognize it or not.

Has anyone ever been disciplined by the ethics committee? They seem like a rather toothless bunch who rarely investigate the D’s. I remember hearing about investigations into AOC and others, but the only person I ever heard of being charged with anything was Chris Collins, New York, R. He resigned for insider trading, which confused me because I assumed EVERY congress critter engaged in that activity and it was an open secret. How else were they becoming millionaires after a couple of terms in office with an annual salary of $174,000?
Just because it was named Ethics Commission doesn’t make it ethical. In Texas the House Ethics Committee is where Dems and RHINOS go to hamstring opponents whether politicians or media or individual citizens. It is very swampy.
Still, let’s wait to see if the source is legit. Legit or not wouldn’t stop Yahoo from spreading a narrative.
The suspicion vocalized on War Room is that the story of the Pope’s fears is a premise for the Pope to purge conservative Bishops or whatever they are called. In other words, Pope is fearful of them. Pope’s people plant a story stating the intentions of those anti-Pope Bishops to justify a purge. That is a good reason to remove the Pope if there needed to be another. But I am not Catholic so what do I know.

Hmm. No new IRS agents and weaken ethics committee. Covering their tracks? With all the stuff that is f’d up, it’s interesting to me that they started with this.
