Parents will only put up with being bypassed for so long.
I recently took my twelve-year-old for his annual check-up. The process was rather routine, except for two distinct differences. First, he needed three vaccinations, all of which he received and second, I wrote “No” across a form that the nurse handed him without my permission.
You see, the nurse bypassed me and handed my son two pieces of paper and a pen. She asked him to answer two questions on one and then the entirety of the next. She then proceeded to leave the room. Not once did she ask me to look at the forms prior to handing them to my son nor even question whether I wanted him to complete them. It left me annoyed and feeling disrespected.
My son proceeded to answer the questions (the first two of which he couldn’t even understand). This was met with my words “Don’t answer anything until I take a look.” So he stopped and I read. And what I read had nothing to do with my son’s physical health at all and everything to do with facets of his life quite personal to him and me, all of which fall outside of my pediatrician’s jurisdiction, in my book. So I picked up the pen and wrote the word “No” across both forms and called it a day.
When the pediatrician came in, she disregarded the papers and examined my son, engaging in the usual chit-chat that a parent would expect from a pediatrician. The appointment ended on an uneventful note but it got me to thinking how much things have changed since I was small and my mother was sitting in the pediatrician’s office with me.

The left does not believe that you are a customer in these situations.
Having some notable family history with being on unfortunate lists, I don’t recommend this approach. Either leave it blank (and plead accident) or lie.
You know what answers they want.
They will could a “no” as having all the unwokr answers.
Alternatively, if they press, leave.
I wonder why the author didn’t explicitly state what the questions were...
The medical community is criminal and compromised completely. Do not trust any of them.
It might help many to know the questions.
Asking about firearms and sexual activity,and/ molestation is my guess.
It would be helpful to know the type of questions asked. I presume the questions involved sex, sexual identity and substance issues BUT I am merely guessing.
Get a load of this. It’s from western NY, not the above practice. But check out the attitude displayed by the practice toward the parents/guardians and the invasiveness of the questions. Note the practice tells patent/guardian to leave the room while the pediatrician and child go over the questions...

Probably. I’ve heard a few times that kids are asked by TPTB about whether or not there are guns in the house.

And these are the same people telling parents to muzzle and vaxx their kids for the coof.
That’s horrible. My brother’s family lives in WNY and I’ll have to ask him if they’ve run into this. If that happens, I’d buy tickets to see how my sister-in-law handles the situation! The soft-spoken woman can turn on a dime if the government messes with her kids. I pity the fool who goes there.

I’ll give her credit for going part way there.
Given what she and hubby do for a living, I think we can figure out why she wasn’t explicit.
I just hope she gets a new pediatrician.

I don’t have kids, so Conservatives like me rely upon those with direct access to the affronts for the facts.
Without the facts, it’s all hearsay and an effective response is impossible.
I - and others, I’m sure - am especially sensitive to efforts to restrict facts with intent, and the author’s piece is characteristic.
First of all, she didn’t clue us in to the questions.
Second, she didn’t voice her concern/displeasure to the doctor with the nurse’s actions or the questions on the sheet.
This lady ain’t serious.
