Probably. I’ve heard a few times that kids are asked by TPTB about whether or not there are guns in the house.
When our kiddo was that age, the new doctor pull that same bs and with guns. Thankfully, I was in the room. Even better was kiddo came right back at the doctor and wasn’t playing her game. Daddy, being LE, obviously had guns. A phone call to the HMO five minutes later got us a new doctor.
They frequently asked me if we had guns in the house.
They never once asked me if we had a backyard pool.
Guns imo keep you safer but even if they didn’t a backyard pool is a far worse hazard.
It is not about safety obviously.
