My doctors give me questionnaires with similarly invasive questions and I lie about them, too.
I am not giving them any info on firearms nor any reason to red flag me.
And the rest is none of their business as well.
Very intrusive and not their business. Answered honestly or using concrete thinking by the unwary it could ruin a family and blight a life. Thought crimes on paper.
FWIW, I wouldn’t lie, for a variety of reasons. I’d just refuse to answer.
I’d also find a new provider if possible.
While damning Big Med to hell for aiding and abetting Deep State.
Twenty five years ago, a Pediatrician office that I had been using for a couple years separated one son from me while we were escorting younger son into the examining room. I noticed when I looked back for him that the nurse was asking him something. He told me that she asked if there were guns in the house and if they were locked up.
He answered yes and yes.
I called the next day, had my records transferred to our adult Family Practice docs and told them that they had NO right to question my child without my permission.
Their comment: it’s for the child’s safety. I told them I was the arbiter of what was safe for my child, and it didn’t include unapproved questioning of underage children by strangers.
Starve them....take your business away.....talk to other parents - though some of them are so brain dead its hard to believe their children survive.
Similar thing happened in elementary school a couple years later. Teachers & psychologist planned a weekly ‘round table’ discussion with selected kids & teachers. Caveat: children were not allowed to discuss what was said in the group. I refused permission for him to participate. Psychologist demanded a meeting, wanted to know WHY I would refuse to allow participation. I told her that the first thing a child molester tells a kid is ‘don’t tell your parents’. She was very indignant, but I pointed out that if her actions are the same as perverts - don’t be surprised if some people won’t go along. Other moms scoffed and rolled their eyes at me....’kids don’t want to talk to their parents’.
My son was the only one not participating. It lasted one semester - by that time parents were flocking to the office, demanding their kids be removed from the roundtable. Turns out there were quite a few ‘naive’ kids as opposed to the dysfunctional ones they sprinkled around every table. the discussions were frightening to many of the kids.
Looking back, when you told people that something was wrong with this stuff, educated white mommies just rolled their eyes and told you that you were too overprotective.
right.
The point is that the doctor was bypassing the parent/legal guardian to gain information from a minor--presumably to get that information without any input from the parent/legal guardian.
This is a similar approach that the "education" system is taking in telling the kids not to tell their parents about some form/activity/subject being taught.
It's just another vector on attacking parents' rights. I'd have done the same thing--even if the questions were as innocuous as "What's your favorite color?"
This wimp of a parent doesn’t get the relationship. That is the problem. Get up and walk out. Find a doctor, teacher, school, husband, friends who will respect the parent. If not, the child has no protection and he knows it. Soon this child will be walking all over this parent

The doctor works FOR the parent. The parent chooses to be there. Anything that doctor asks represents the parent to the child. Tge child knows this the parent is unaware.
Anything Disney or any teacher says or does to the child has been approved by the parent.
Choose a doctor that will not do this. Getting up and walking out is the last action. By then it’s too late.
Any representative of the doctor that tries to hand the child anything gets stopped. That’s when you get up and leave
This has been going on for decades parent wimp out and it’s come to this.

I have had some questions asked on the pediatricians form, that I don’t answer, either, because it’s not their business.
Fortunately, it’s the same pediatrician my oldest had, and as not a woke doctor, he knows how things have changed.
He’s not woke like my cousin who is a lefty-boomer, and considers anyone who insists they are in pain, they are drug addicts. Her reviews are very low.
Doctors can’t have their own practice anymore, and have to keep bending to the government.
Well, the parent was in the room and saw the questionnaire being passed.
The parent didn’t confront the pediatrician while the doc was still there or after the doc returned.
The bypassing that was done was allowed by the patent.
That’s on her.
Notice the author Karen, I mean Laura, didn’t say what the questions were. That’s kinda important to the story.

It’s a slippery slope to categorize people by their “demographics.” There are a lot of good people and bad folks in every group.
Yeah, it’s that “overwhelming” 1.7% of the electorate that is (nominally) Jewish that put the USA on the wrong course.
All on us, not the 98.3% of the vote that is gentile.
That's still a heck of a lot of votes from a particular demographic.
And, the figures are questionable, at best.
