NASA found something on Mars and it’s holding a press conference on Thursday to tell everyone

NASA’s Mars Curiosity rover has been on the Red Planet for a long, long time. Back in March it tallied its 2,000th Martian day, which is 2,054 Earth days, and despite some drilling woes that have since been solved, the plucky little rover is still cruising along and conducting experiments in the name of science.

Now, just days after NASA revealed that its new drilling technique works as planned, the agency is calling for a press conference to reveal something special. As always, the group is tight-lipped about what it has in store, but it will be holding its event this coming Thursday, June 7th, to talk all about it.

So, put simply, we don’t know exactly what is going on, but it’s somehow related to Mars and more specifically the aging Curiosity rover

The muzzlem mosque is finally finished. This is the secret mosque that Charles Bolden's muzzlem outreach promised.

How did that guy ever become an astronaut? Oh, yeah, I just figured it out.

Now that it has been proven beyond any shadow of doubt that we cannot trust the DOJ and the FBI, why should we believe anything that NASA says? All this Mars stuff may be one gigantic hoax staged on a movie set somewhere in the bowels of Hollywood.

They found tire tracks with Morse Code imprints?

The original wheels had the letters JPL cut out so they would leave Jet propulsion Labs signature all over the planet.

NASA shot down that idea, so the current wheels are a series of dots and dashes spell out JPL

It’s just click bait because it is not the announcement by NASA of its findings.

“I’m guessing the cost of mining on Mars would be....astronomical.”

Shipping costs too.

Actually, it is probably easier/more efficient to mine iron there. Future space fleets might be made from Martian steel, because of that advantage.

I was at a mine in Indonesia - the remoteness of the site is what made it so expensive. Both getting equipment into the site, and the gold out. It wasn’t worth the cost of transportation, so their waste piles had ore with percentages of gold that was above what many mines in the U.S. are mining!
