“I look at this as a prize fight, Hillary coming in as champ, Donald the challenger. For trump to win he had to take it from her he went the distance split decision Hillary is still the champ”
I look at it the opposite way. Trump is the champ (Hillary is not an incumbent)
I look at this as a prize fight, Trump coming in as champ Hillary the challenger. For Hillary to win she had to take it from him. She went the distance, split decision, Trump wins because for the challenger, Hillary, to win she would have had to knock out the champ, Trump. She didn’t.
He spoke about Jobs. He spoke about lowering Taxes to entice companies back and to the US. He spoke of our FAILING infrastructure, look around we are falling apart. Look at the closed store fronts, look at the closed businesses. She is going to invest money. Whose money? Hers? or yours or mine.
Trickle down. BS. We need booming factories, booming housing market, booming infrastructure and money flowing in all directions. This will promote growth that this country has not seen for many many years. He spoke about the millions of jobs this will create. I could care less of how poised she looked or how well she handled herself. I didn’t need her to fall down
Trump won by default as he was the challenger. He may not have won one single vote but then he might have won thousands.
Time will tell. I like his attitude. He has an opinion and he can back it up. She cannot.
That moderator was an absolute creep.
I’m seeing trump 90.4% Hillary 9.6% at 11 pm est.
Trump 55%
I agree, within the context of an unfair fight. I expected Trump to be able to overcome that but he did not. I've already mentioned my belief that he needed better "subject matter experts" but he was pretty bad anyway. I didn't support any of his opposition in the primaries, didn't think the party did a good job at all.
Maybe this will be a wake-up call for Trump as far as debate prep goes, but the bigger picture is election prep. I'm a volunteer at my county's election headquarters and everybody, just everybody I see and speak with is "high on Trump." We need a million of "me" across the country, especially in the swing states like my native Michigan. We also need maybe five million of "me" on election day!
He did mention that she deleted 30,000 e-mails. I thought that was a good mention, because I always believed that was the WORST thing she ever did. Not just having the private server, but having her staff or lawyers delete 30,000 e-mails after this became a controversy. And all based on the “assumption” supposedly that they didn’t come back in a few keyword searches. That to me is her greatest offense and he gets credit for mentioning it.
There seems to be an excess amount of respect on FR for women who look like Chairman Mao on his catafalque.
I hope so...

Yes, she looked more tired as time went on.
55/45 Trump right now...
That's exactly what the world saw tonight.
When Clinton spoke, she sounded like a droning policy wonk - in other words, just another Washington politician.
When Trump spoke, you heard passion and a focus on the actual problems that are killing this country. He sounded like we do - an American who knows that we have to drastically change the way things are done in our government.
No one will remember the details of what was said tonight, but they will remember who came off as real, and who came off as fake.
Trump won that one all night long.
She absolutely does suck on ice, and she is liar and has all the wrong positions. She will be a disaster as a president if God forbid she wins.
Too bad Trump was so unprepared that he couldn't mop the floor with her. I have no doubt he will make a great president, but he sucks as a debater. At least he did this time.
If he is the man I hope he is, he will learn from this one and come back much better prepared in the next two debates.
The debate where Hillary called everyone a racist, bragged about the ridiculous Iran deal, was proud of NATO's Afghanistan stunt (disaster), more money for failed green energy companies, rambling about some nonsense about bringing police and communities together and so on and so forth.
She is unbelievable, has no real plans other than the same tax and spend nonsense that has failed us for so long.
Trump, whether on purpose or by accident, painted Hillary as part of the system that has failed us for so long. She has no defense for that.
She lied and lied and lied and lied.
For those who know who she is, well.....
Interesting she said gun "safety" instead of 'control'. She almost said it........
I like how he brought up why hadn't she solved these problems while she had been around for 30 years......
way to stay out of the debate Lester! GO TRUMP!
I really wanted him to mention that when a Democrat says “invest,” it means tax and spend. But that’s something you more likely pick up as a trigger word when you’re a real aficionado of the conservative movement.
Time has a poll also...

Hillary is leading by two points
Does Invest mean anything else to a liberal? I heard it in big bold letters
