Here's an interesting exchange between NBC News and former Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz that happened just now:
NBC: Donald Trump's remarks about Judge Curiel, are his concerns legitimate?
Cruz: Of course it's inappropriate to be attacking a federal judge's race or ethnicity. You're going to have ask Donald to explain the reason he says the things he does. I'm not going to try to do so.
NBC: Ben Sasse said that what Donald Trump said about the judge is pure definition of racism. Is Donald Trump a racist?
Cruz: As I said, it is obviously inappropriate to attack a judge's race or ethnicity. Beyond that, you're going to have to ask Donald.
NBC: (As Cruz walks away): Last question Senator, can you fathom though still at this point supporting Donald Trump in November?
(No response -- goes into office)

Trump needs to call a press conference and tell Ryan, McConnell, Cruz and the rest of the Hillary for President crowd that he stands by his comments on the racist judge and they can all his his ass! These worthless RINOs put their cushion jobs over the good of the country with these shameful attacks on the GOP nominee. To them it’s all about survival and nothing changes with Clinton in office. Their way of life is over if Trump is elected president. The best thing that could happen to the party is for the worthless Ryan to be sent packing in November. He’s as worthless at tits on a boar hog.
Cruz has broken his word-period!
This is a major gaffe by Trump, and I’m a Trump supporter who thinks the judge is biased. I hope he can overcome it.
Yes, very poor choice of words.
However, it is blowing up the Latino KKK, La Raza.
No gaffe at all. The judge is a biased, racist member of an anti-American and racial supremacist group. Trump is 100% correct.
IMO, Trump was right about this judge. There is no option but Trump. Hillary is a corrupt murderess. Not one person I know gives a damn about what Trump said about this La Raza judge!!!
Apparently, you’ve missed the hundreds of thousands attending the Trump ralleys. Had you watched, you wouldn’t make statements like that, IMO.
Ted Cruz said blacks and whites beg without shame, unlike his proud people.
Yes. We in California had a close brush with MECHA/La Raza when Gray Davis’s Lt. Gov. Bustamente ran against Tom McClintock and Ahnold, and the guy was knee-deep in that organization since college. It was a primary topic of discussion on talk radio for months.
>>This is reality. You don’t have to like it. I don’t. But, we can’t change it.
Trump can. But, he has to stop making these unforced errors in front of the media. <<
Yes. Reality has a way of slapping us hard when we look the other way.
And it doesn’t reflect poorly on anyone who needs to make an adjustment. Anyone who’s flown a plane or taken a boat out knows that being off course by half a degree is not a big deal after a short distance... but keep going in that direction for long enough, and you’ll be quite lost.
Good posts.
California is ground zero for their takeover dreams.
PS - to add. When an adjustment in direction, strategy, or behavior is called for, it’s the strong, confident person who can do that without feeling threatened. I don’t expect anyone to be perfect, but I do expect leaders to know when adjustments need to be made... for reasons in their control or outside their control. That’s why SWOT matrices are so helpful.
Without a doubt.
Since you attended Har-vard Ted, I assume you had basic language lessons.
So you know that your statement is at best disingenuous and at worst attempted slander.
It hurt him, ergo it was a gaffe, and I hope to God it doesn’t screw us.
As I said before he shouldn’t even be talking about this stupid lawsuit, so unnecessary.
I don't know if the judge has been involved at the beginning, but I don't think the Trump team thought there was an issue until the judge ruled against him repeatedly, in ways that some would consider to be judicial misconduct.
However, I don't know why they haven't filed a motion for recusal. I think they should have done that, and let it speak for itself -- rather than Trump complaining publicly.
Yes, I did. I did it to demonstrate my point to everyone else reading this thread, and to demonstrate that you really don't understand the problem, and probably never will.
My comment also exposed another poster with the same problem. I really don't think there's any hope for either of you, but you've been a useful foil for other people reading these comments.
See ya!
Don't let the door hit you in the behind on the way out.
I agree. I think it’s about time we start a this Country was settled and explored from east to west primarily by Caucasians and the constitution was written by Caucasians. We will not grant any racial quotas as it is OUR country. See how fast they bitch.
That is exactly what any half ass intelligent person would conclude. Obviously you need it spelled out.
” La Raza judge!!!”
Trump’s error was not highlighting the La Raza thing. He can easily fix it.
