If the wife of Bill Clinton wasn't trying to re-enter the White House to inflict further, likely fatal damage to our country, I might agree with you. However, she is, and therefore this agent has a duty to warn the populace about her.
I agree. A book promotion on Drudge was huge for Unfit for Command and will be huge for Character.
It is so sad that the Greatest Generation from the Depression and WW II have to talk daily about Hillary, Obama, Michelle, and Jerry Brown. It breaks my hear to hear the seniors talk about such garbage losers.
I remember walking through a Target store in 2004 in Chatsworth and saw a man walk back and forth by the cash registers holding the book Unfit for Command.

I took the time to go to Amazon and read the preview “Look Inside” materials. What is posted consists of the Table of Contents, Intro, the first chapter, a little of the second chapter, and the Afterwords. It is simply written, but convincingly written. There was some hearsay but also some first-hand witnessing of events. It will be interesting to see what the rest of the book contains.
What has always amazed me about the Clintons is that with what is known of their deeds, how they can even show their faces in public. As I’ve aged and become more cynical, I’ve come to realize that they must have a seriously large number of enablers. That they have indeed been bought by entities/people that are not the friends of America. They have been compromised. And a vast conspiracy (pun intended) exists to keep them in power because they provide a lot back to the enablers-—funds (aka our tax dollars), information, etc. It is sick. And what is sicker is that there are a lot more like them out there. I can only hope and pray that Trump wins in November and then that he proceeds to rapidly and completely clean house at all levels. If Trump fails to win for whatever reason (read: fraud...) then we are all in for a very terrible time of it. The nation may not survive. I know that sounds dramatic, but it’s the path we’re on. And it will happen fast. /end rant

Perhaps you have it backward; a president and his family should conduct themselves in such a way that the secret service would have nothing interesting to write about. And, I thoroughly disagree with you, the SS are ultimately the employees of the American people, and I think they have a duty to honestly report how they are treated and how the SS is utilized. The president is not a king, he is a public servant, he is one of us, chosen for a few years to head the administrative branch of govt. In return, he and his family’s safety is ensured by the SS. If the POTUS or any other public servant or a family member mistreat or misuse the SS or any other govt employee, the voters certainly have the right to know about this so as to be able to make an informed decision as whether or not, we the people, want to continue to employ that elected official. Unlike you, I think the SS has a responsibility to report gross abuse to the people; as we have the right to know just what kind of people we have employed to form our govt and represent us. The person we elect to be the president is the ultimate supervisor of the people we employ in our govt. and we have a right to know just what kind of a boss he (or she) would be before we hire that person to do the job!

So? That's why we have a line of succession. The POTUS isn't a king. He's a citizen like the rest of us. There's 300 million more waiting to take the job after him.

I can not recall ever hearing of a Secret Service Agent writing a tell all book. I thought they had a strict confidentiality policy and legal agreement.
Is this guy going to get sued? Will Team Clinton quash the distribution? We live in interesting times.
I know what you mean. It all means big money to this SS guy, even without proof and evidence, but the book will sell.
However, in that case, it would remain a he-said/she said.
