I've come to this site every day since Ted Cruz became a national political figure. Perhaps I'm just getting old with a failing memory but I can't recall any derogatory posts about Cruz until Donald Trump began his ad hominem attacks on him. I don't remember Freepers attacking him as he built a record in the senate.
Can someone direct me to the threads and posts by the Freepers who now hate Cruz that were made prior to September of last year?

I am a Cruz supporter and I wholeheartedly agree with your last sentence.
I will cast my vote against HilBern, no matter who the “R” nominee is.

I was content with Cruz as my second choice. What started to turn me off was the attacks by Cruz Supporters. “Trump isn’t a real Christian”, “You’re not a real Christian, if you support Trump”, “You’re not a conservative if you support Trump”, “You have no principles, if you support Trump”.
I ask you the same question. Are you high or drunk? Cruz has a clear path to victory!

It started with Trump. They used to say one or the other. Not so much now. A man with real principles and a man with no principles. Go figure.

This election is crazy. The thread was pulled by JimRob because of “too much trash”, and I agree completely.
Too much trash from Cruz and his surrogates. Apparently Mark Levin hates people who work for a living.
As far as I know, all of the “anti-Semitic” charges Levin was making against sundance never panned out, since Conservative Treehouse is quite obviously pro-Israel.
AGAIN, JUST IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: DUE TO HIS 500% H-1B VISA INCREASE POSITION, I AND OTHERS ON THE H-1B VISA PING HAD MAJOR ISSUES WITH CRUZ BEFORE TRUMP CAME ON BOARD. Others have said same thing. Cruz was not OK before Trump entered the race.
Good point. But it wasn’t just a position. Cruz wrote the flipping U. S. Senate bill to do it and campaigned for it for TWO YEARS until Trump forced him to withdraw the idea.
I was all-in for Ted after he first announced his run for the presidency. I donated four times to his campaign, as well, which is something I’ve never done for any political candidate.
And then he made that fateful vote on TPA. That was the turning point for me. I began to feel uneasy with him. Then came his vote on the heinous Corker bill. At that point I came to a full stop in my support for his campaign.
Even then, I didn’t dislike Ted, but as the months have rolled on and I’ve discovered much more about him (all of it documented, by the way), I’ve lost a great deal of trust and admiration I formerly held for him.

My wife agrees with you. And, I value her opinion. (Sorry, I don't know you.. so, I place NO value on yours).
But, I disagree. I remember when people though Reagan was a "hot headed Cowboy with ZERO chance of winning a general election". And then, the people got a chance to see who he REALLY was? And, he won.. in a landslide.
I think, ANY of these Republicans will destroy Hillary or Bernie. We should pick the one we want.

TPA had been in place from 1974 and although it expired in 2992, was still used until 2007.

This is not new, and everyone being up in arms about it now, is just more campaign rhetoric.
Cruz had a stipulation that he would support it if the Ex-I’m bank was not included. It was, which is why he changed his support. It is why he called out McConnell.
Sorry, we’re talking about Barack Obama’s TPA. There is simply no justification for a principled conservative to enable the secret “trade” deals of most lawless POTUS in U.S. history. Ted Cruz did just that with his votes in support of TPA.
