Good point. But it wasn’t just a position. Cruz wrote the flipping U. S. Senate bill to do it and campaigned for it for TWO YEARS until Trump forced him to withdraw the idea.

You are absolutely right—I really did rather soft-soap his activity in the expansion of H-1B Visas! He did much more than write an article...or approve of the position...-he was a big-time advocate of importing foreign workers—cheap labor express to the extent that he sponsored a bill :( Thank you for the correction :)

Oh, and as you say, it was Trump that brought immigration to the forefront and forced Cruz to withdraw the frightening expansion of H-1B Visas by 500%.

I remember back in early 2015, people could not believe that Cruz, such a “strong” conservative, would support such a move...but the facts were backed up by various tech magazines, etc.
