"Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia would be found dead of apparent natural causes.
Presidio County Judge Cinderela Guevara acknowledged that she pronounced Scalia dead by phone, without seeing his body.
We discovered the judge in bed, a pillow over his head. His bed clothes were unwrinkled," said Poindexter.
A pillow over his head does not sound like natural. And who pronounces a Supreme Court Justice dead over the phone. Or anyone, for that matter.
Why is it unlikely?
Local GOP JP rules heart attack.
Would the left and the msm just say "years of hard drug abuse and gay sex will do that" and move on?
Once again you are twisting what I said. I did not say the judge banned an autopsy. The judge ruled the death as natural causes (over the phone) and did not order an autopsy. SHE IS A DEMOCRAT, THEREFORE HAS A BUILT IN CONFLICT OF INTEREST IN THIS CASE. My comparison is precise. The left would demand an autopsy and toxicology report in a reversed situation.
The family is in grief and were given the information based on what that democrat judge ruled. They are in no condition to make a decision like this.
DERERUM.
My complaint was posting it in “News” and doing so in a less that literate, coherent fashion.
The Admin has taken care of the first issue.
My objection to the manner of the post should not be construed as disagreement with its sentiment.
The owner of the ranch invited Scalia to this hunting weekend without knowing him, and was also the one to find his body lying so peacefully in repose having not felt any pain (which I don’t understand how this man knew that). He was also a democrat. Called himself an independent but only donated to Dems.
What sort of idiot would murder a guy and leave the corpse with a pillow over its face?
This stinks to high heaven.
people live LONG lives anymore.....dying in your 70's is not the norm anymore for Americans...
Good thing Marilyn Monroe wasn’t a Supreme Court Justice.
This was done so that when Obozo Doesn’t step down this year the Supreme Court won’t be able to do anything.
Well it appears that you’re for giving the government some pretty sweeping authority to just start butchering people’s remains against the wishes of their surviving family based on specious reasoning.
I hope I never live to see the day where this opinion is widely shared. And if I do live to see it, I hope I don’t die of a heart attack in bed with a pillow.
But. but, but, it was over the phone. That has to be valid!
Your statement is ridiculous. There are many many cases where the government requires an autopsy. I believe that in my state, if you die at home without a physician to testify to the cause, an autopsy is required. Scalia had a physician testify to general health issues consistent with being 79, but he had no direct info as to his death at that particular time. That would require an autopsy and toxicology report. Given the political ramifications, it should be required in this case.
So your drama about living in an America where...NEWSFLASH, you already live in such an America. Might you possibly be happy about the political ramifications of Scalia’s death and therefore not want a resolution to the doubt?
Immured: verb, enclosed or confined against their will
Mure: verb, archaic variant of immured
Murer: noun, a person the confines others against their will
Murered: adjective, a person subjected to the actions of a murer.

I too trust Scalia was murered.
Could you please fix the spelling o
my article
Coincidentally, I had just corrected your misspelling right before you typed up your request.
Next time though please hit the abuse button immediately and request an edit rather than wait for hours.
Thanks.
“I prefer to respect the wishes of his family.”
Welcome to Free Republic. It was nice of you to join us only 7 years into Obama’s reign of terror. Were you too young to join earlier? Didn’t know about the site? Just curious.
I prefer to have a little more clarity on the suspicious timing of a death that completely tips the scales of power on the level of a political coup. The nation deserves this much.
I 79% believe it was natural causes, but the owner of the dump he was staying in said he had pillow over his head, among other oddities (no autopsy, no viewing of the body by an <E or doctor, declaration of death done over phone). It is all over the net on mainstream news sources (such as Houston Chronicle).
Ranch is owned by Texas multi-millionare/billionare John Pointdexter*...

Scalia was just the latest newsworthy guest to visit the celebrity hideaway that covers 30,000 acres near the Chinati Mountains. Mick Jagger, Julia Roberts and Tommy Lee Jones have also partaken of its scenic vistas and luxury accomodations.
Established in 1857 by Milton Faver, known as the first Texas cattle baron west of the Pecos, the ranch retains 19th Century constructions, including “El Fortin de Cibolo,” a primitive fort designed to protect settlers from Apaches.
In a special guest package offered last month, rooms went for $545 to $565 a night for two people, with a meal package and ranch tour included. Other activities include hiking, horseback riding, bird-watching and ATV tours.
