No gods, no glyphs, but quite a grave.
Kenyans (okay, some Kenyans) have not changed much from 10,000 years ago to today's White House occupant.

"The find offers compelling evidence in the scientific debate about whether human aggression was passed on to us from our primate ancestors or emerged after the development of agriculture and settled, hierarchical human societies." There's a debate about this? Seriously?

"...family group of hunter-gatherers who were slaughtered by a rival group."
More than likely by a group of cave-dwelling European neo-colonialists looking to exploit them for their resources....

Meanwhile, the members of the extended family group of Germans are inviting three million members of a rival group onto their land. I wonder what archaeologists 10,000 years from now will say when they explore the ruins of what used to be Germany.

Humans are humans and behave accordingly. Mass slaughter has been found on every continent except maybe Australia.
That idea that conflicts were the result of agricultural hierarchical societies is the old Marxist paradigm raising it's ugly head. Marxists believe primitive man lived in harmony with nature despite the voluminous evidence that they didn't.

You have to remember that the neo-Marxist progressives are interspersed with Rousseauians, in that they believe that mankind is naturally good and that it is society that has corrupted it.
This “noble savage” theory has been disproven time and time again, but the social “scientists” keep returning to it like dogs return to vomit.

That can’t be! These were peaceful 3rd world victims, no doubt of an early imperialist raid by the evil white man. Probably Vikings.

    “Seriously”?
Yeah. There's also a heated debate if primitive tribes ( or even civilized ones like the Aztecs) really engaged in cannibalism, or if it was just propaganda by the Europeans to justify their imperialism.

Well these particular social scientists don’t buy into it. The reporter included the idea in the story. I wonder how many social scientists still believe in it.
