Decades old news recently republished. It's funny, though, to consider all that "virgin forest" existing there from time immemorial--oops, you mean it had all been under human development?

"The roads were always oriented this way in keeping with the mid-year summer solstice. "

Is it just me? Or does it irk you too when they make statements like this?

Everything in the past did not have to exist to satisfy pagan religious rituals.

The roads are designed that way because that would give them the most LIGHT through the trees for the most amount of time throughout the year...

Golly. I don’t understand why folks find proof of ancient civilizations something to be wondered at.

Remember that God scattered the people of the world at the Tower of Babel. And there are 12 tribes of Israel, so where are the rest of them?

That’s right. All those farmers planting their fields to line up with the summer solstice, or is it 90 deg. from the summer solstice? Either way, it must be some pagan ritual.

Except for the Protestants, it's 45 deg. and no dancing allowed.
