9:05 a.m. this morning - the president to talk about WOT (according to FNC).
We have thunderstorms moving in here so I may have to log off for a while but hopefully we won't lose our cable and I can watch the president.

Speaking of Mr. Prairie, he has finally done what he's been threateneing to do for several months and gone to a buzz cut.
No more camoflauging of that increasing bald spot by neatly arranged longer hair. He looks good and he's much happier with it.
I tease him by saying that I don't know whether to kiss him or salute him. Haaa!

Miss Lily survived the pneumonia but is determined to go home to the Lord. She is refusing to take liquids and is so dehydrated. I know that dehydration can cause pain so I am going to try to get her to drink her favorite drink ....bourbon and coke. I promised her I wouldn't put her in the hospital or artificially extend her life, but I want her to be comfortable.
I selfishly want her to stay in my life, but...my decision to let her go is easy when I put myself in her place.
Comfort measures only now. Bless you all for your prayers - we can feel them. Love, Bev

McLellan is out. Bring on Tony! Also Rove is stepping down as deputy chief of staff, but will remain as Dubya's political strategerist. I feel kind of bad for Scott, but he never really looked comfortable in front of the White House Press Jackals like Ari did.

Hi! I've been ut digging dandelioins and came in for some iced tea. Interesting news day, today. I hope Tony Snow takes the job, but only if his health and his family allow it.
