this might be beyond them - I don't believe either Primus or Secundus have patience for steady work over six to twelve months before any gratification, and I KNOW Tertia and Quartus do not.

Not really.
Fridays are Mondays.
Today has been sorta quiet...
I'm scared.

Time off? Well, if I can't cash it in for extra $$$, I might as well take the time off. Assuming, of course, my commitments will allow it. But December tends to be a slow time for my committees.. unlike January, when the pace ratchets *way* up!
Got a few projects that have been holding fire, like installing a DVD-burner (Linux box or Windows box?), getting the DVD-ripping/converting software going (I figure in 4GB I can store all the LOTR movies in MPEG4, sized to play on my PDA -- just the thing for that 14-hour flight *\;-), and other tech-fun stuff I haven't done much with due to travel.
Not to mention cleaning/organizing the house, yardwork, etc. *\:-|
Though it's getting a bit cold for yardwork. I know it's not close to freezing fog, but a really cold fog appeared this evening -- unusual, this early.
So how are things there?

Not really a conundrum, IMO.
I'd never met him, but I wish peace to him and to all that knew him.
What more really needs to be said than that?

What more?
More than simple words can convey.
But that is how it always is.

I was impressed by the subtle pattern of his "lapses" in English spelling and syntax.

Fridays are Mondays. You need to read " Monday begins on Saturday."
It's SF/Soviet/sarcastic, part of my "permanent collection" and probably quite dated by now, but the authors rank among my favourites. This was not one of their best -- "Hard to be a God" nearly got a Hugo (Nebula?) Award for best SF -- but I quite enjoyed their writing.

I'm guessing he is a retread that we've run across before.
He did sound mighty familiar.
He sounded quite.. "English is my second language, but I am trying."

Funny, that's the line I use!
To: Darksheare
True.
It's the feelings behind the simple words that lend the words weight.
