GREETINGS,

FOLLOWING is a note re todays Alaskan quake. First a comment about this thread.

SOME FREEPERS are fascinated with fringe areas of reality. Some of us even think the fringe areas of knowledge, research, anecdotal stories and the like will have very impactful effects on the WAR ON TERROR, WWIII, Biblical end time events etc.

WE ALSO FIND FREEPERS FULL OF GREAT CREATIVITY OF THOUGHT, INSIGHT, WORK RELATED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS ETC. useful in collecting diverse puzzle pieces and in analyzing them. This diversity is priceless and virtually unavailable on any other site.

While we are seriously interested in topics which others scoff at, throw tinfoil hat assaults at and which we often even can't discuss calmly with many of our relatives and friends--we are either not all loonies or not 100% looney--though perhaps, hopefully, healthily insane in an insane society a la Eric Fromm.

Nevertheless, we do NOT enjoy nor appreciate hostile flame wars and the like just because we enjoy fringe puzzle pieces and analysis. Nor do we wish to cast the least bit of aspersions on FR.

I do not know how many of us will be willing to show up and post on this thread. Many are gunshy from all the flame attacks such topics typically trigger hereon. However, if my FREEPMAIL is any hint, there are plenty to be interested in such a thread.

HOWEVER, to whatever degree I may be graced with the ability to do so--this thread will NOT tolerate flame wars, flame posts, hostile jabs at other posters etc. I will do my utmost to get such posts pulled immediately.

The THREAT MATRIX thread has done mostly pretty well at creating and maintaining a lot of resourcefulness, creativity, camaraderie, mutual supportiveness and friendliness.

I hope and expect that this thread can even do better. Certainly I will do what I can to help make that happen.

If this thread flies and helps in any way analyze the WOT threats as well as natural disaster threats or any other plausible threats from 'reality' (whatever that is), then WONDERFUL. If it's just a good place to toss around the various puzzle pieces and their implications in a convoluted era and reality--that's worth some time, too.

If this thread dies and early death from disinterest, so be it.

If you have comments about the above, please post them! Hostile dereogatory posts will AT LEAST BE WHOLESALE IGNORED.

I recall reading somewhere in the last month, a prediction that a very major devastating quake on the West Coast or the Pacific would occur shortly after a moderate quake in Alaska or just south of Alaska.

We shall see.

Yes, that's the Scripture. IT's not at all clear to me from that Scripture that the removal of the 3 kinds occurs at the 3.5 year point. Could be. I just don't see it as a given. Maybe I'm misreading it.

Blessings. Trying to catch up after being gone a week. The Dean Gotcher article is truly amazing. I'll share a vision I received regarding the "institutional church".

I was standing at the beginning of a road that continued on to the far horizon. Immediately on my left was a church. Next to this church was another then another, all identical and as they stretched along this road to the far horizon, they became smaller and smaller. All at once, with incredible force, all the doors of the churches opened simultaneously. Millions of people ran, as if for their lives, out into the road and beyond. There was a sense that they couldn't stand it anymore and they were seeking only Jesus.

I could only pray, Lord, bring your people out into the streets. Isn't the mission of the church to train the saints for the work of the ministry?

I've also seen the true church (the believers)ministering in the streets of America to the lost and confused in the midst of destruction. I sense in my spirit that the function of the churches who follow the Holy Spirit in these days will be to turn their fellowship halls into places of refuge for the displaced, hungry and homeless.

your 'head in the sand' observation caused me to examine my thinking & feelings about why im not too concerned about globalist conspiracies. i didn't think it's something i was trying to ignore or avoid....that shoe just didn't seem to fit, but i wanted to make sure. so, thank you! - for 'making me' study the scripture :).....i think i know why now.

interestingly enough, it's right there where we've been studying! as i went thru it again, i came upon verse 43, in daniel 2. two points impress me from that verse: 1. the mixture "will not cleave to one another"...which seems to say that there's no 'one', or 'unalloyed' kingdom....in the context of the preceding symbols (of the SAME STATUE!). 2. (this one makes me smile, because i guess i just realized - again thank you! - how subtle, yet obvious it is) they will try to "cleave to one another". i think i just assumed this without really examining "why"....

oh, another point, but having more to do with what i am able to perceive from daniel AND revelation - their connection, use of parallel symbols, etc. - is that the one-worlders, be they 'earthers', 'bildys', 'moonies', whatever - can 'conspire away' all they want! it comforts me when i read revelation 13; 3 (for one good example)...seems to me THAT'S the 'real deal' that god wants me to know of beforehand - it will all be out in the open! the 'secret handshakers' dont seem to merit much press in his word - at least from what im understanding and reading - LUB

The typical church is a basket case if one compares the reality with God's Scriptural priorities.

Have long threatened to write an article about WHY EVANGELICAL CHRISTIANS DON'T BELIEVE THE BIBLE.

Now that I am on the couch so to speak. I have been feeling like I have strayed from the Lord way to far, and need to move back in as close as possible. Had an overwhelming urge to buy The Stand and watched it twice this weekend. The feeling of needing to be closer to God has been pushing me and nudging me for about a month. The need to buy The Stand just popped up out of nowhere this weekend so I headed for Wal-Mart.

Qx: Don't know the movie/book. I gather it's something about standing one's ground, especially about faith issues? If so, done that plenty!

I know something big is coming, and have known it for over a year. Before 9/11 I couldn't watch enough blow buildings up movies, every movie I went for was about that. Dreams? I don't dream or remember them unless they have some sort of significance and are important and I never forget them or the detail of them.

Qx: It's still useful to write them down for others and for a chronology in written form to demonstrate the chronology for unbelievers. I don't do it as much as I should but better than I used to be.

The last one and I have had maybe 5 in my whole life, told me that the next Pope would be a black man out of Africa, and he will be a man eater.

Qx: Wouldn't doubt that. I think, actually, that others have had similar dreams/visions/impressions about the next Pope being black. Don't recall about the man eating aspect.

(why that with everything that is going on not connected to that I don't know) Guess time will tell, in the meantime, I am sleeping dressed and ready to go. :) I didn't get wrapped up in the Y2K stuff, so I am not one to panic, altho seems here lately my fuse is getting shorter, but then maybe time is getting shorter.

I think all believers and certainly unbelievers will need to rachet up their relationships with God wholesale and several orders of magnitude, imho.

PRAYER especially--and I would be lost without praying in tongues--if it's never been your experience, invite Holy Spirit to come into your life [assuming after you've insured you're repented/confessed up and clear with Jesus] and give you all He has for you. Then, when you run out of things to say in English or any other language you know--pray in syllables and sequences not from any language you know AND TRUST HOLY SPIRIT IS ADDING MEANING TO YOUR PRAYER FROM YOUR HEART IN CONCERT WITH GOD, THE HOLY SPIRIT AND THE FATHER'S PRIORITIES.

Anyway--regardless, prayer is a vital way to deepen one's relationship with God--including quiet times to just listen for His reply. Jesus said, MY SHEEP KNOW MY VOICE.

Of course, Scripture reading/study is essential. And, some sort of fellowship with someone else who earnestly believes and preferably a group that does--preferably also a home group though larger corporate worship and preaching have merit if one can find a worthy group.

I insist that the groups ought to be kind, with humble leadership and to make earnest efforts to live out the 'one another' Scriptures. And, of course be basically balanced and sound Biblically. Not always easy to find.

WHOA....yep, you were right, and thanks for the link, my kind of forum.
My biggest warning would be to find fellow believers, join hearts and hands but STAY AWAY from organized religion. I used to be an ordained minister. God said,"Come out of her." It was hard for me to understand until I was no longer under her bondage, but it has been hard, I love people even the mean ones most of the time. lol I have friends who are wrapped up in the system of religion, they ask me to please go with them, but I know what will happen, I will be asked to leave. Or I will watch judgement fall, know its coming and can't do anything. Sometimes you just don't know what to do, I just know where I am NOT suppose to be right now. Thanks for the tip Dr. Quix...lol. And I swear I am on no meds. Someday I will give my testimony, and reading some of these posts actually brought a feeling of peace. I'm glad you provided a place to go where the flames are not so hot.

Oh...I was on the first page and didn't see this post till I had posted mine. I get lost very easily, good thing I'm not a bird I would be at the north pole..lol. I get lost in FR!! My goodness...if you like movies you have to watch The Stand...by Stephen King. Its probably a 6 hr. movie but its his take on endtimes. A man-made plague, some people live thru it (hundreds maybe) and are either drawn (from all over the country) to the Walkin dude in Las Vegas, or the old black woman (mother Abigal) in Nebraska, who is always talking about God's will, then the final battle. Its about good and evil and standing strong. An inspiration.

Yeah..its hard to make yourself fit. I tried at first and just couldn't do it. God's people are a peculiar people, they just don't always fit. My take on it is this...the rivers of living water flow away from the throne of God, if you are going with the current you will move farther and farther away from God. Swimming against the current to move closer is harder and takes alot more effort. For that reason, I won't follow men, they go with the flow.

Interesting, and actually I always wondered if America was Babylon the great whore. Only problem is, she is not old enough. Scripture says ALL the blood of the saints are on her hands. The whore in Genesis is also the whore in Rev. she is at the beginning all the way thru to the end. Study the whore in Genesis and you will start being able to track her to Rev. America does not sit on seven hills.
Nor does she declare herself to be the Queen of Heaven. Land and location does play a part to a certain extent but systems seem to match the characteristics of what is written thru out the Bible. Man has always looked at and followed systems. Personally I believe the Beast to be a gov. system and the whore that he rides to be a religious system,until he has no further use for her, the people have been manipulated enough. Religion is the enemy of Faith. It was politics and religion that crucified Christ. One must remember, we have been conditioned by religion, movies, society, politics ect. and it has taken generation upon generation to accomplish what we believe now. Also one needs to note that this whore in Rev. has many daughters and they return to her. America is pretty much hated worldwide, whom would our daughters be? BUT if you start studying Semarimis,Nimrod and their son Tammuz along with the religion she created and what her idols looked like in her temples and their system of worship you will connect the dots. No one will have to show you anything. Scripture says "Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall MAKE you free." Most people don't want to see the truth...its not politically correct...again part of the plan. I do how ever agree with you that we may very well be one of the daughters of this whore, but I think it is connected to her more thru our religious beliefs and practices than anything else.
