I've been running late all day.

I didn't get the thread posted until this morning.

I woke with a sore throat. My son said it is from the plane's pressurized air, but I think it is a common summer cold.

It is slow going here. My satellite modem died; it will take about 5 days for them to get me a new one. Finding any of my graphics has been slow. I'd forgotten what it's like using a dialup connection. ; )

Oh no! That's too bad, Amy… 5 days, yikes! I hope they could give you a new one in a couple of days, but 5 days? Wow.

I think the weekend is slowing it down. They will be shipping the equipment out Monday and it is coming to California from Maryland.

Hopefully the new modem will get here by Wednesday. I'll just be limping along until then.

I think I have an addiction. If I leave for that many days again, I will get a laptop so I can stay in touch.
