Thanks for your assistance my friend! :) I'm working on a paper, "Why I'm a Conservative", with lots of scriptural references that will include choosing corrupt leaders. I think this is my best chance with her since we go to church together.
Spookie, if you have any recommendations they'd be most welcome.

I am seriously confused......[sigh]
I thought yesterday's thread was different than today's. I guess I need to pay more attention to dates.
That and I was dating *everything* the 21st today. Arrrrrrggggghhhhh!
Don't mind me - nothing to see here folks - just a chronically confused FReeper with senioritis.....

LOL
So you have joined me in the state of confusion?
I've confused everyone this weekend.
I usually post a thread to run Fri-Sat-Sun. Since I won't. be here next week, I posted this thread for just Fri-Sat and will start a thread tonight to run Sunday thru Sunday.
I decided to make everyone wonder if they are suffering from senioritis. :)

Thank you for letting us know, Lonestar.
Father, please be with Darlene as she battles lymphnoma. Please give her doctors the knowledge to treat her with the procedures that will see her cured. We aske that you bless and comfort Darlene and her family as they are faced with this stressful battle. We ask this in Jesus Name. Amen

Thank you for these beautiful pictures!!!
To get pictures that could stay in the same state as those, I would need get a better camera and register for a couple of photography classes. :)
I'm sure I will get a couple that I will not be ashamed to post.
See you in a week.
Call the police if you see any strangers lurking at Amy's Placed while I'm away. :)

See if you can SAFELY get a pic of some chollo cactus.
A young grouping of it if you can.
Not sure of anything other than that to view for some strange reason.

Oh Gosh, that's a tough one. My first thought is to pray for her. I prayed for a pro-choice friend for a long time, while debating her.....God eventually won her over, because I'm not taking any credit. God can change hearts. I'm a conservative BECAUSE I love God so much and want to do what's
right. I fail all the time of course...LOL...but the intent is there.....and yes, I know the road to hell is paved with good intentions. LOL
Oops...lost my train of thought. My point is, I can't seperate my politics from the Lord. I know a lot of people can do this, and there are some great conservatives who could care less about God. I feel, for me personally, it would be a sin for me to vote for a Democrat. (I said for myself, no one else). I've known some good moderate Democrats, who were good people, but in general, I cannot, in good conscience promote their party's agenda. I'm not saying Republicans are always "righteous" either....far from it. I just cannot help the Democrat party and be comfortable standing before God.
These are my personal feelings and I'm not speaking for anyone else in the whole wide world.
I'll think about this real hard and pray about it. Is she a new Christian? I think the longer she studies, God is going to bless her with knowledge and wisdom. I would start with personal responsibility and women's issues. The Bible teaches personal responsibility over and over again. We are to take care of ourselves and each other in our church, when they are hit with hard times. The government shouldn't take care of anyone.
I'll think of some scriptures for you. We'll have to talk about this on the phone. This is way to complicated for type. LOL
xzins or Jen, do you have any scriptures for Donaeus? See post #221
