I hope if you've been paying attention these past few days, you're beginning to understand my position, and why I've been so forceful, consistent, and aggressive in my advocacy of it. Many of you already understood, but certainly there are many others who still need to figure it out. In just the last couple of days, Donald Trump has promised reprisals against his critics when he's elected president, pledging to "open up" libel laws so that he can punish anyone who writes "negative" or "false" stories about him. He said his critics "will have problems" when he's in power. Remember, Trump claims that EVERY critique of him, no matter how true, is "false," so he is clearly vowing to outlaw all criticism of government. If Obama had said anything even remotely in the neighborhood of this when he was running for president, every conservative in the country would've exploded with rage (justifiably). But Trump said it and it hardly sparked much of a backlash at all. Then Trump proceeded to retweet a quote from Benito Mussolini, the Fascist dictator, and later admitted that he knew the quote was from Mussolini but decided to distribute it anyway. To be clear, for anyone who isn't versed in recent world history, quoting Mussolini is exactly morally analogous to quoting Hitler. It would be like Trump finding a passage in Mein Kampf and sympathetically reading it at one of his rallies. Finally, this morning Trump refused to repudiate David Duke and the KKK. Later on Twitter he backpedaled, but when asked on TV if he would denounce the white supremacists who've endorsed him, Trump dodged. He was pressed specifically on denouncing the KKK and he refused. The KKK, people. Donald Trump was reluctant to say, "Yes, obviously I disown the KKK and object to everything they say and do." Initially Trump avoided the question by saying he has to investigate the KKK to figure out if he agrees with them or not. Now, guys, this was all in the span of just three days. And it should be noted that a great number of his fans cheered him on when he promised to censor speech and defended him when he quoted Mussolini and refused to criticize white supremacy. I said last week that the scariest thing about Trump is that he's running as a tyrant, unabashedly so, and his fans want him BECAUSE of it. His fans are explicitly asking for Trump to rule as an emperor. They don't desire freedom or liberty anymore, and they don't give a damn about the Constitution. What they want is a political Strongman who will "restore America's greatness" through brute and oppressive force. I should remind you, historically, this plan has never worked out well for the common man. Just ask the folks who lived under Trump's mentor in fascist Italy. We are watching our nation march headlong into tyranny and despotism, and the cattle following along are quite aware of, and enthusiastic about, where the cattle train is going. While Trump will not repudiate white supremacy, his fans have indeed repudiated freedom and independence, and are desperately asking their Great Master to subjugate them for the good of the country. It's madness and it must be stopped. If you can't see that now, you never will -- until it's too late.
I talk to myself....
but that’s a subject for another day.
imagine if SOME NUT SAID HE WOULD LET HALF THE PRISON POPULATION OUT!!!! THE PRESS WOULD BE ALL OVER IT!!!!
no, wait....
Has anyone seen Cruz's CRBA?
Matt Walsh is an unadulterated fruitcake of the worst kind.
I still joke about Bob Dole telling us about Bob Dole. Really bad campaign advisers there. I am baffled as to why people post from The Blaze as well. Anything owned by poor, unbalanced Beck is suspect.
I still remember his line something about “Bob Dole knows it, you know it, and the American people know it, and blah, blah, blah.....”
If you ever get to DC and see the historic national sights, take a day and spend it on the Metro going over to Virginia and surrounding and look at the entrenched infrastructure of largess and activity in those communities of bandits, agencies, lobbyists, et al that form the framework of diverted tax money from us to ‘support’ this government.
It is an unimaginable Disneyland Cornucopia of waste, fraud and abuse of the tax payers’ hard earned money. A dynamo of activity that produces NOTHING.
The Butthurt is strong with this one.Trump lives rent free 24/7 in Matt Walsh brain.Someonr needs to put suicide preventions number on speed dial for Matt tuesday night.
“By the way, I am not an uneducated, blue collar, Redneck, angry, white only, Evangelical American as the pundits like to paint all the Trump supporters and therein lie his power base.”
Well said, and neither am I, but the fact that identity politics like this are being used to discredit people whose lives are negatively affected by the selfish oligarchy who populate public office is beyond the pale.
We should start a list of all the ‘keywords’/catch phrases the left and the ‘elites’ use to label and diminish their opposition and shut down credible discussion.
This video sums up the feelings of the average Trump supporter.
“I’m as mad as Hell and I’m not going to take this anymore!”
Has anyone seen Trump’s taxes? Has anyone seen the birth certificate research that the conman Trump did on Obama? Nope. That was a scam too, like Trump University, but less useful than Trump Vodka. The man is a walking scam.
When Trump says we have lost control of our country he is right on the money and we know it. Many refuse to believe it but they know it. The time to come clean and speak honestly is here. Even though it is painful and meeting tremendous resistance, it is crucial for the survival of the USA.
These rants coming from multiple directions make me go from liking Trump to loving Trump. You know you are over the target when you flak is the thickest. We shall have our reckoning.
Paragraphs can be your friend. A block of text looks like an encrypted block of junk.
Another anti-Trump nothing who thinks his words actually mean something.
Why is this drivel constantly posted here?
I noticed the “judges signed these bills into law” statement as well.
I assumed he meant that they [the judges] were “legislating from the bench”, but he should’ve said that - not that they signed bills. That was just one of a number of clumsy turns of phrase that makes it seem as though he is just winging it all the time.
In large part, I believe that is his whole campaign, just winging it.
I like that he is exposing the poisonous, yet weak underbelly of PC culture, but he does say some scary things.
