For some time now, residents of some US cities have noted occasional incidents of seemingly random, racially motivated violence in which young Black males are involved. The hot weather and bad economy seem to be combining to generate a small but possibly significant uptick this year. The national media are doing their best to avoid looking too closely at this disturbing phenomenon, and perhaps for good reason. What the United States doesnt need is a media firestorm that triggers copycat violence.
Nevertheless some attention should be paid.

However, I differ slightly in that I think that Mead knows that if this violence continues that whites will lash back and that they will be justified in doing so; only that it will be regrettable if it comes to that.
For a more brutally honest take, and one that is closer to my own view, is this article in the American Thinker: The Taboo on Mentioning Black Mob Violence

LOL! Too true.
“...How many can you shoot?...” a LOT, if they make the mistake of trying to violently invade my home...less, but still multiples if out in public armed with an EDC...
Very interesting, thank you!
If it comes down to that, shoot the guys who are waving their arms the most - they are usually the leaders.
you are correct sir...
I'm kind of thinking that a Glock in hand is a better choice, but then I'm from Texas...
The only time I’ve pulled a gun, it was a 6-shot .22 revolver. I had returned from a hike in the desert and found 8 guys drinking whiskey on my car. As they started to fan out around me, I pulled my 22...they stopped fanning out around me.
No one shouted, “8-6=2!”
No one laughed that it was “Just a .22!”
I got in my car and left.
That doesn’t make a 22 a good self-defense weapon, unless it is all you have. It doesn’t mean 6 shots (or the 5 I normally carry in my J-frame) is ideal for mobs.
But if you have the nerve, shoot the closest guy threatening you in the face. I’m guessing it will make a difference.
If not, then against 10 or 100 doesn’t make a lot of difference. Most folks when rushed wouldn’t have time to get off more than5-10 shots. But against rioting ‘yutes’? I suspect a single shot would do...
Yep, no one really thinks it’s a “good time” to get shot.
It's not as hard to do as you seem to think, even in heat and humidity. Glock would be an excellent choice in such an environment, as well.
Happiness is a belt fed weapon!
I live in NW Harris Cty, Texas. Where I live has NONE of these kinds of problems. That’s why if I should take a stroll...all I’d need is mace. Now if it was in another part of Harris Cty...yes, I’d carry my gun.
I just googled recoil pads to come up with the Kickeeze pad. I do not have a recoil pad on my 30.06. Seems that the Kickeeze and Limbsaver pads are the two top ranked pads currently available. I need to pick a pad up, but seems every time I have the money to do it, something else more important comes up.
That is what I was thinking. Mobs are not troops. There is a reason for all that training. Shoot at a mob, they start running. Shoot at troops and head towards you, shooting back.
“the media will electronically lynch him/her or at least try to.”
the fun will really begin when they start attacking the buildings where the media works, or start attacking the reporters that are covering the attacks. Remember what happened to that blonde reporter in Egypt? Reporters are not immune from being attacked by loonies on the march. If something substnatial happens, it will not be restricted to the ghettos, but will come out into the nicer areas. These flash mobs have been as of late small tests to kind of tear down the inhibitions that these thugs have had about going into more affluent areas.
