Blogger admits Hawaii birth certificate forgery, subverting Obama claims (Uh-oh)
Israel Insider ^ | 3 July 2008 | Reuven Koret

Posted on 07/03/2008 4:35:19 PM PDT by SE Mom

Jay McKinnon, a self-described Department of Homeland Security-trained document specialist, has implicated himself in the production of fraudulent Hawaii birth certificate images similar to the one endorsed as genuine by the Barack Obama campaign, and appearing on the same blog entry where the supposedly authentic document appears.

The evidence of forgery and manipulation of images of official documents, triggered by Israel Insider's revelation of the collection of Hawaii birth certificate images on the Photobucket site and the detective work of independent investigative journalists and imaging professionals in the three weeks since the publication of the images, implicate the Daily Kos, an extreme left blog site, and the Obama campaign, in misleading the public with official-looking but manipulated document images of doubtful provenance.

The perceived unreliability of the image has provoked petitions and widespread demands for Obama to submit for objective inspection the paper versions of the "birth certificate" he claimed in his book Dreams from My Father was in his possession, as well as the paper version of the Certificate of Live Birth for which the image on the Daily Kos and the Obama "Fight the Smears" website was supposedly generated.

Without a valid birth certificate, Obama cannot prove he fulfills the "natural born citizen" requirement of the Constitution, throwing into doubt his eligibility to run for President.

McKinnon, who says he is 25-30 years old, operates a website called OpenDNA.com and uses the OpenDNA screen name on various web sites and blogs, including his comments and diary on The Daily Kos. In recent years he has divided his time between Long Beach, California and Vancouver, British Columbia. He is a Democratic political activist, frequent contributor to the left wing Daily Kos blog, and a fervent Barack Obama supporter.

can't recall where the image originated, might have been texas darlin blog.

The address is suspect, genuine or not, we have no idea. The archive for the Honolulu paper where this may have appeared is not operating, I get an error message. Tried again today.

Clips from two different newspapers have been published with the same information. A real investigation would turn up useful information from these notes and their origin.

Interesting.

No one remembers him from college.

Only one person remembers seeing him as an itty-bitty baby, and that was 2500 miles away from where he was allegedly born!

Our Daughter’s Hawaii Birth Certificate vs. Obama’s

Marble Wallet ^ | September 6, 2008 | Stayfree

Posted on Saturday, September 06, 2008 12:47:33 PM by Stayfree

Compare Obama’s supposed birth certificate with that of our youngest daughter who was born at Kapiolani Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Even though hers was prepared about 10 years after his, note that hers is similar in form to that of us old folks and our parents and grandparents with lots of info, whereas his contains very little info.

***

At the risk of being mortally wounded by hundreds of sharp tongues here on FR, I ask you to compare our youngest daughter’s Hawaii birth certificate with Obama’s supposed birth certificate. For privacy purposes, I have whited out certain family names.

Note that her birth date is about 10 years after his and yet her certificate contains much more info and signatures.

You can’t see it on these two reduced size images, but the perforation seal is not the same on both certificates. I compared our original to the blown up version of his and they are not the same.

So the misdirection was that Team Obama put out a cover rumor story, that no one from Columbia would talk about him. Cute.

Viz:

COVER STORY
Barack Obama ’83
Is He the New Face of The Democratic Party?
By Shira Boss-Bicak ’93
http://www.college.columbia.edu/cct_archive/jan05/cover.php
...

Obama says he was somewhat involved with the Black Students Organization and participated in anti-apartheid activities. “Mostly, my years at Columbia were an intense period of study,” he says. “When I transferred, I decided to buckle down and get serious. I spent a lot of time in the library. I didn’t socialize that much. I was like a monk.”

Obama says it is difficult to separate his college experience at Columbia from the urban experience of living in New York City, and his memoir offers little about his time on campus

...

Upon graduating from Columbia, Obama attempted a career as a community organizer. He wrote that when classmates weren’t sure what that was, he didn’t have a sufficient answer for them. “Instead, I’d pronounce the need for change,”

Did he go to classes at all? I bet not hardly -- he was doing something else out of his apartment. What? Was his degree a grant? Just a ticket to Hahvahhd?

Sometimes there is a grand conspiracy, maybe who knows? Quite a few aligned stars otherwise -- the heavens are rarely that aligned for anyone.

Yes, the little PUMA claims she had one of her supporters track it down.

The archive for the Honolulu paper where this may have appeared is not operating, I get an error message. Tried again today.

The real tragedy is that there isn't a single FReeper within a thousand miles of the paper's office. There is no one who can devote an afternoon to walking into the paper's home office and physically examining the relevant microfilm.

No one.

I think maybe all those 'chairs of islamic studies' in US Colleges paid for by Saudi money result in THE SELLING OF DEGREES?

See #5599 Harvard got $ 20 million.

No way, unless, unless, the colleges have fallen to the level of the Biden family ... or even to the level of those Sarah-baked Alaskan Republicans.

On February 26, the New York Times Magazine reported that Yale admitted Sayed Rahmatullah Hashemi, the Deputy Foreign Secretary of the Taliban, into a non-degree program, with a chance to gain full degree status by 2006.

“In some ways I’m the luckiest person in the world,” Hashemi told the Times. “I could have ended up in Guantanamo Bay. Instead I ended up at Yale.”

I wish I could.

Man, I just find that hard to believe with all the Freepers we have, there are none in Oahu. We need to set up a Honolulu chapter sometime.

To: null and void; BIGLOOK

What about BIGLOOK who is quite familiar with the area? Also the birth announcement clipping appeared in both “The Honolulu Advertiser” (Sunday, August 13,1961 edition) and “The Honolulu Star-Bulletin” but the date it appeared is unknown.(For some reason August 16,1961 sticks in my mind) Both appeared on Texas Darling’s blog, with one submitted by a PUMA with the first name of Laurie who was there to do a documentary on Obama while the second one was posted by someone using the screen name of koa. Please note that both papers have a web edition but “The Star- Bulletin” was bought by Canadian interests in 1996 and the only archives online are from that date. It is unknown if they retained archives prior to the take-over, which is something I questioned earlier because of the fact that Obama himself mentioned the article of his father’s interview after graduation, which appeared in “The Honolulu Star-Bulletin” and which he supposedly found along with his birth certificate and some medical records when he was a teen. Going to the website of “The Honolulu Advertiser” they actually accessed the archive library and reprinted portions of the interviews with Sr. which can be found here but “The Star-Bulletin” does not!
