why do people keep banning me everytime I put up interesting articles? I work for a website I think some of you are familiar with called phantirath weekly world news and each time we put somthing up on FR no matter how conservative it is it keeps getting banned. Whats the matter with it?! Damn man what are you marxist socialists communists? I just got a call this mroning from a Juwish friend of mine who said that you banned an important article about Zionism and Noam Federman and about how we were to support israel. I thought you guys supported Juws and others like him!? I mean you know that god is going to punish you if you dont support them and others like Noam Federman who are being downtrodden by the leftists and the Arabs! EVEN Pat Buchanan would be outraged by this! The Juws are wonderful people who have been a blessing to this nation and other nations in the world! Why is it you hypocrites complain about bias and then you shut us up just because you dont agree with us!? Who made you god and told us what we had to do anyway! This website has got to be the most fascist naziast place ive ever been! The Juws will win someday and when the Arabs are gone and when the Juws and rightous gentils go up top you will be atr the bottom! I demand an explanation for why you are doing this to me and my boss and the Juws!

I have every episode on tape. You are right the fifth season had it's flaws mostly I think because he didn't think he was going to get the fifth season and tried to cram every thing he could into season four. Wow, what a ride that season was.

I think my favorite episode was Shattered Dreams. The battle scenes were nothing short of phenomenal. Especially the charge of the Narns.

Memory and smell are processed in the same are of the brain. Trigger one, you can recall the other. Try it sometime. Pick a random smell at lunch time or at work. Try to recall that smell later. Suprised the heck out of me the first time I tried that little experiement.

I remember that. Actually one of the few moments from that show that choked me up. Once again, it's that whole warrior society thing where the good guys die.

Still, the Vorlons and Shadow being essentially the same and "called home" by the missing Elders was just ridiculous. They should have had some other meaning, some test to pass themselves to be included beyond the Rim. Not just accepted and pardoned without just cause. Felt morally flat. Like cutting off a piece of yarn to short to finish your knitting.

Firefly was on Fox. Joss Wheaton (sp?) produced it and it was the best SciFi show since B5 went off the air.

Quality alas is not appreciated and the show vanished into the ether with three episodes unseen. But now it is reborn as a movie coming soon to a theater near you.

Joss Wedon, the creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the Angel spinoff also delved briefly in to sci-fi with the aboterted series Firefly. Due to scheduling conflicts and monied interests, it was cancelled towards the end of its first season. It was realsed, 13 episodes, on DVD. It has a fair sized fan base that is unusually loyal. Next year Serenity will be released as a movie continuing along the same plot arcs with the same characters and motivations.

Imagine a future where US and Chinese cultures were the ones that made it to the stars. Blending into a future mismash society where Enligh and Chinese are interchangable and those not on the core planets live a frontier existance complete with all the poverty, superstition, and hardship one would expect. Toss in a heavy leavening of sci-fi and you have Firefly. Probably one of the smartest sci-fi shows ever produced. Could be why it was yanked. Not bland enough...

They recently delayed the release date. It is now Sept. 30th of next year instead of April 22nd. Allows them the slot all to themselves with no Star Wars to compete with and more time to run trailers for the movie where they now have almost none.

Joss was also credited with writing for Toy Story, Alien:Resurrection, Titan AE, and others.
