The Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Newtown, Conn. brought out all his ugliness. In a column that appeared after the shooting with the headline "Kaul: Nation needs a new agenda on guns," he proposed a new liberal agenda: repeal the Second Amendment, declare the NRA a terrorist organization and make membership illegal, and well, make violent threats to Republican leaders and NRA members. FREDERICK, Md. — Frederick police say vandals put stickers promoting marriage equality and a gay pride flag on the windows of a Chick-fil-A restaurant. Police say the vandalism was reported Sunday morning. Several homemade signs were also left at the restaurant.

The Romney team today confirmed grass-roots reports that a campaign bus was sabotaged by an unknown vandal over the weekend. Police are trying to find a protester who dumped a beer Wednesday night on the head of state Rep. Robin Vos (R-Burlington), who was with other lawmakers at a Madison tavern. A report from the Madison Police Department identifies the victim as a 43-year-old state lawmaker from Burlington, a description that matches Rep. Investigators suspect arson in a fire that destroyed St. John Vianney Church in Hacienda Heights over the weekend.
