Salinas police determined that a grenade that was donated a Salinas Goodwill was determined to be a fake. The item was donated to the Goodwill Central Coast Outlet at 1566 Moffett Street. The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office Bomb Squad was called to assist, and they detonated the potential explosive and determined it to be a fake.
