Nothing will work unless the Gazans are forced into the Sinai for several years, while the grown ups deal with what’s left.
Almost every Gaza City hospital, apartment building and outhouse have one or more doors down to the underground terror tunnels.
Remember the city-wide booby traps at the end of the Hunger Games. I imagine Hamas booby traps throughout Gaza City. Combined with Hamas forcing the women and children to remain in harms way, sometimes as human shields.
The only entity trying to prevent Hamas from committing genocide on its own people is Israel.

Sinai is in Egypt. Quite a bit of the Egyptian army is stationed on the Israeli border to prevent just that.
