The Democratic National Committee (DNC) is planning to virtually nominate President Joe Biden as the party’s presidential nominee ahead of their convention in August. DNC Chairman Jaime Harrison issued a statement on Tuesday in which he explained that the Democrat Party would be taking matters into their own hands and holding a “virtual roll,” in order to ensure that Biden appears on the ballot in all 50 states, according to the Hill.

President Biden plans to meet via Zoom with the families of Americans held captive by Hamas terrorists Friday, telling CBS’ “60 Minutes” that he wants to show his administration will do all they can to get hostages back home — if they can locate them. “I think they have to know that the president of the United States of America cares deeply about what’s happening.
