Ukrainian forces finally reaches the Russian "First Line of Defense", north-east of Robotyne; fierce fighting ensued and ongoing. With this "breakthrough", Ukrainian forces continue to pour troops in this direction to build on their momentum. However, the relatively long distance between Novodanylivka to the frontline, means that the Ukrainian forces were at the mercy of Russian artillery and airstrikes all along the way.
