The Metropolitan Police have issued a warning to 'run, tell and hide' as they hunt for terrorists who went on a rampage on the streets of London tonight.

British Prime Minister Theresa May on Sunday responded to the country’s fight against Islamic extremism, calling for tougher measures to fight terrorists after attackers killed seven people and injured nearly 50 in vehicle and stabbing assaults in a busy area of London Saturday night. The attack, the third this year and coming days before a nationwide vote in Britain, ended when police shot and killed three attackers at the scene of the carnage at London Bridge and Borough Market. The prime minister delivered a stark assessment of the situation, adding: “It is time to say: Enough is enough.”

The Islamic State’s (ISIL) leadership has called on its supporters in Europe to carry out attacks against Christian civilians. ISIL referred to the Christian civilians as “crusaders” and told its supporters via its social media wing that killing these people will benefit them during the month of Ramadan. The terrorist group encouraged its supporters to carry out attacks against Christian civilians using vehicles, guns, or knives. This is not the first time that the terrorist group has encouraged its supporters to carry out attacks during holidays; however, this has certainly raised security concerns in Europe, especially after the Manchester attack.

Prior to the June 3 London terror attacks a pro-ISIS channel sent out a meme urging Islamists touse trucks to “kill the civilians of the Crusaders.” The meme also urged Islamists to use guns and knives. Details of the attack remain unclear, but CBS Philadelphia reports that the attackers ran through the restaurant at Borough Market after driving a van into pedestrians on London Bridge. Witnesses said the attackers entered the restaurant yelling “This is for Allah!” and stabbed random Londoners.

A car has reportedly mounted the pavement on London Bridge before a stabbing attack, according to witnesses. There are reports that a white van veered off the road on London bridge, hitting five or six people. Police have confirmed they are dealing with an incident and armed police are at the scene.
