by One Vike Obama has given the orders and his Chicago style thugs have taken the challenge to the the people to beat them down and force them to accept the Messiah's decrees. During the Presidential campaign we learned many things about Obama that most Americans would not heed. On June 14, 2008 Obama told a crowd in Philadelphia on June 14, "If They Bring a Knife to the Fight, We Bring a Gun, because from what I understand folks in Philly like a good brawl. I’ve seen Eagles fans.” Then a few months later on September 17, he...

Public Discourse: The candidate who told his supporters "to argue with them and get in their face" now finds the shoe on the other foot. So they're taking names and encouraging you to turn in your neighbors. So this is hope and change — telling American citizens who in a democracy disagree with you that they are mind-numbed robots participating in mob action and expressing "manufactured" outrage. Considering that upward of 80% of those hooligans like their doctors, like their insurance and like their care, anger over your government-run health care was not that hard to assemble. It was not that...

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi sent her chamber home for the summer recess with a list of talking points to respond to constituents' questions about pending health care legislation. But those traditionally sleepy town hall meetings have become rowdy shout-fests across the nation, including Northern California, with opponents hanging members in effigy and mocking them with Nazi and devil imagery in an effort to derail discussions of health care. They're organized in part by conservative think tanks like FreedomWorks, which offers tips on how to disrupt a meeting ("Watch for an opportunity to yell out and challenge the Rep's statements early,"...

I was just about finished polishing the last of my 7,001 gold bars, doing what rich white racist community organizers do when shamelessly hording our money from the IRS to fund secretive political missions from K Street, when the phone rang. “Dr. Dave, I presume?” “Yep,” I said into the Bluetooth headset the Republican National Committee bought me last fall during the infamous “Barack Obama Is a Kenyan” rallies, aimlessly rubbing circles over the gleaming gold bar in my hand. “This izzzz Elllll-Russsshhhbo.”

Others on this blog have described how Rep. Lloyd Doggett, D-TX, demeaned his constituents for having the audacity to oppose socialized medicine at a public meeting. (Doggett called their self-expression a “real desperation tactic.”) However, it’s worth memorializing the way the host of MSNBC’s Hardball, Chris Matthews, views those who reject ObamaCare: they’re jihadists. (Snip) Matthews began: “Everytime a member of Congress or Senate calls a town meeting now, the people show up, and it’s like, I don’t know, it’s like Iran, it’s like the streets of Tehran.”

Frank Benenati, regional press secretary for the Democratic National Committee, is circulating a memo by e-mail about strategies right-wing groups are using to "harass" Democratic members of Congress as they talk about health care and energy policy... Right-Wing Harassment Strategy Against Dems Detailed In Memo: 'Yell,' 'Stand Up And Shout Out,' 'Rattle Him' Politico reported that Democratic members of Congress are increasingly being harassed by "angry, sign-carrying mobs and disruptive behavior" at local town halls... Part of me wonders if this reported tactic isn't a facet of plain, old-fashioned free speech. Don't these groups have a right to show up...

This is from Sen. Cardin’s website - http://cardin.senate.gov/. The coward is only holding 2 town halls in the month of August. Butch is laid up and probably will not hold any town hall meetings.

Congressman Farr sent me a detailed list of all of his town hall meetings for August and September. He sent me an email full of false "facts" about the Obamacare Reform bill, including the lie that there are 47 million uninsured Americans. He also stated "The current system of health care in America is seriously broken and needs fixing. It is immoral to stand by and do nothing." Call/write your congressman ASAP to find out their schedule and post here. Also email all of their constituents that you know. These politicians' lies must be confronted before things get much worse....

ealth and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius and Sen. Arlen Specter got a preview Sunday of the tough sell lawmakers will face over health care reforms. Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius and Sen. Arlen Specter got a preview Sunday of the tough sell lawmakers will face over health care as audience members booed and jeered them during a town hall meeting in Philadelphia. Among those at odds with the officials touting the $1 trillion, 10-year plan was a woman who earned loud applause when she said she doesn't want Washington interfering with her health care choices. "I look...

The lamest thing out of this moron's mouth defending Obama's Socialist agenda is to say that the phrase, 'under God, indivisible' in the Pledge of Allegiance means that we are "all in this together." The last time I checked, the friggin' Pledge of Allegiance is not a governing document of the United States. Indeed it is not a document at all. When you have a member of Congress who does not know that the Constitution is the controlling legal authority, not the Pledge of Allegiance, it is time to send him packing.

We got 'em where we want 'em. Reports are coming in today that Congressmen and Senators on Capitol Hill are so afraid of the ire of their constituents back home that they are canceling town hall meetings right and left:

Illustration by Matt Wuerker Screaming constituents, protesters dragged out by the cops, congressmen fearful for their safety — welcome to the new town-hall-style meeting, the once-staid forum that is rapidly turning into a house of horrors for members of Congress. On the eve of the August recess, members are reporting meetings that have gone terribly awry, marked by angry, sign-carrying mobs and disruptive behavior. In at least one case, a congressman has stopped holding town hall events because the situation has spiraled so far out of control. “I had felt they would be pointless,” Rep. Tim Bishop (D-N.Y.) told...

The Walker County Commissioners Court will hear a presentation on the I-69 Corridor project during a regular session today. Michael Parks will give the presentation to the five-member court at 9 a.m. at the courthouse. Sherri Pegoda, administrative assistant to the County Judge Danny Pierce, said the presentation will educate the court on how the project will affect Walker County.
