If we knew how many illegal aliens there were, we could estimate the effect of giving hundreds of billions of dollars of aid. We could tell pro-illegal states to pay for their own voluntarily assumed costs. We could even ask the courts to reassign congressional representation from illegal aliens to U.S. citizens.
