ABC legal analyst Sunny Hostin said Monday on ABC’s “The View” that she believes if Kyle Rittenhouse were black, he would not be alive, much less acquitted of murder and other charges after he shot and killed two men and injured a third during a Black Lives Matter protest last year in Kenosha, WI. Co-host Joy Behar asked, “Sunny, if he were black would he be free now?”

Representative Adam Schiff (D-CA) said Tuesday on ABC’s “The View” that the Republican caucus in Congress was “characterized by numerous kooks and dangerous cranks.” Co-host Joy Behar said, “You might have heard us talk about Representative Gosar, and I even mentioned some of the others, Boebert, Cawthorn, Brooks, some of them have said inappropriate things, have been espousing violent behavior.”

Guest co-host Gretchen Carlson said Tuesday on ABC’s “The View” that if former President Donald Trump promoted the COVID vaccine to his supporters, the pandemic would be over by now. Carlson said, “The problem with this vaccine, as we all know, is that it’s been politicized. People didn’t necessarily politicize the Polio vaccine, or at least today they don’t.”

Two hosts of “The View” tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday in advance of a planned sit down interview with Vice President Harris, causing the show to shift gears and announce plans to interview Harris virtually as a precaution. Sunny Hostin and Ana Navarro tested positive for the virus, Joy Behar announced live on air Friday morning, after both co-hosts were awkwardly ushered off the set and the program went to a commercial break. Behar said that both Hostin and Navarro have been fully vaccinated and had breakthrough cases.
