After calling for and then deleting his demand for the left to “exterminate” conservative “cockroaches,” Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band guitarist Steven Van Zandt is still walking back his incendiary comment, claiming he meant to say “exterminate at the ballot box.” In a recent set of angry tweets, Steven Van Zandt defended his use of “cockroaches” to describe the political opposition after someone pointed out that the same insult was used in Rwanda to foment genocide. Van Zandt claimed his use of “cockroach” was just “symbolism” and that he really meant to say “exterminate at the ballot box.” He called...

This image was leaked by Wikileaks and shows the symbols and logos used by pedophiles to identify sexual preferences… One of those symbols clearly appears on the Sheriff’s badge, at five different points of the 6-point star… Yes, you got it! The BLogo aka ‘Boy Lover’, appears five times on the badge as shown below…

The White House has reportedly floated an offer to Russian President Vladimir Putin to allow Kremlin access to key NATO bases in exchange for Moscow de-escalating tensions over its military buildup on Ukraine’s border. The proposal would also involve discussions about Russia verifying that the US has not deployed Tomahawk cruise missiles to bases in Romania and Poland, Bloomberg News reported Tuesday. The reported offer would be contingent on agreement from US allies, including Romania and Poland, while Russia would also have to provide similar information about bases with ground-launched weapon systems. The overture reportedly is intended to ease...

In Disney’s 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,' the prince does have permission to kiss Snow White. He just doesn’t get it in writing and signed in triplicate.Cancel culture’s latest victim: Snow White. In an article for SFGate, editors Julie Tremaine and Katie Dowd criticized Disneyland’s revamped Snow White ride for including scenes of the movie’s iconic kiss between the prince and a sleeping Snow White.“A kiss,” the authors claim, “he gives to her without her consent, while she’s asleep, which cannot possibly be true love if only one person knows it’s happening.” Horror of horrors! As if being pursued...

[EDITOR’S NOTE: The photo used for this article includes an image of Ku Klux Klan hoods made from Kente cloths. These were a part of a collection by Paul Rucker, a multimedia artist, showing the legacy of slavery. More about the collection here.] What a failure. Pelosi’s smug little pandering photo-op of taking a knee wound up on the wrong side of the racism issue. It was bad enough that the Democrats taking a dramatic orchestrated kneeling-in-support-of-George-Flynn opportunity to kneel had it blow up in their face a few different ways. Pelosi looked like the Medic Alert ‘I’ve fallen and...

On Thursday, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi ordered the removal from the Capitol Building of four portraits of former Democratic House speakers who had ties to the Confederacy. Robert Hunter of Virginia, James Orr of South Carolina, Howell Cobb and Charles Crisp of Georgia. The removal of the portraits is the latest meaningless gesture from the speaker and Democrats following the death of George Floyd. Pelosi sent a letter to House Clerk Cheryl Johnson ordering the removal of the four portraits in observance of Juneteenth, an unofficial holiday commemorating the Republican's emancipation of the last slaves in the Confederacy....

>>Some may ask why millions of Earth’s citizens experienced a shared deep and emotional interest in the burning of a Christian house of worship. Atheists. Jews. Muslims. Hindus. Buddhists. Animists. Conservatives. Liberals. Even those who seemingly go out of their way to use the slightest opportunity to mock or ridicule Christians and their faith.<<

Is this where it's all going?

A classical Greco-Roman rhetorical tradition survives in Christian iconography  Have you ever wondered, while looking at religious icons, why the figures of Christ and the saints make certain hand gestures? Each gesture has a specific meaning, but it’s no wonder we can’t always understand them: they’re “written” in Greek! Classical Greeks and Romans developed a well-established, quite complex hand-gesture code, which was used by both orators and rhetoricians alike, when they were giving speeches in the agora or the Senate, during their private addresses, or even in the classroom. The gestures accompanying the oratory, of course, were a matter of public...

The latest Gallup poll indicates that 14 percent of the people "moderately disapprove" of Barack Obama's performance as president and 39 percent "strongly disapprove." Since Obama won two presidential elections, chances are that some of those who now "strongly disapprove" of what he has done voted to put him in office. We all make mistakes, but the real question is whether we learn from them. With many people now acting as if it is time for "a woman" to become president, apparently they have learned absolutely nothing from the disastrous results of the irresponsible self-indulgence of choosing a President of...

The House of Representatives passed a bi-partisan resolution Tuesday night reaffirming “In God We Trust” as the official motto of the United States. The 396-9 vote came at the request of Rep. Randy Forbes (R-VA) – in part over President Obama’s refusal to correct remarks he made that misstated the motto as “E pluribus unum” instead of “In God We Trust.”Lawmakers voting against “In God We Trust” include Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY), Rep. Gary Ackerman (D-NY), Rep. Justin Amash (R-Mich), Rep. Judy Chu (D-CA), Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D-MO), Rep. Mike Honda (D-CA), Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA), Rep. Bobby Scott (D-VA),...

I am putting together a photo album. One consisting of my own photographs taken by the DSLR camera I own. I've already created one album, paying ~ $42 for a book of 26 pages (13 sheets) of my color photographs. Expensive, but worth it. (The service, which I selected after thorough online investigation, was Adoramapix. I am not associated with them, and seeing the results I do recommend them, but if you know of a service that is less costly and as good, please do let us know.) The theme and title of my second photo album is to be...

Gag me. After the tragic shooting in Arizona, the calls from the state-run media are to “calm the rhetoric” and “can’t we just all get along?” You see, the state-run Media, in its infinite wisdom and supreme knowledge, has decided that the horrible actions of a lone shooter, which had absolutely nothing to do with politics and everything to do with a crazed state of mind, should now cause our politicians (mainly Republicans, of course) to calm their rhetoric. Because somehow our Nation’s political discourse affected this crazed lunatic who doesn’t read the news or follow politics. Wrap your head...

Symbolism is at play in the debate over a grand mosque being built near the site of Islamic extremism’s greatest terrorist victory against a democracy. While many embrace its construction as symbolic of a democratic society’s tolerance, there is danger in not understanding the symbolically sinister side of its construction as well. As much as we hear about Islamic extremists only representing a small percentage of the Muslim community, it is difficult to forget the images of euphoria in many Muslim countries as news of the 9/11 attacks spread.

I was looking at a couple of Beyonce videos and I came across some information/videos that I think will be of interest to Christians that are concerned with end-time prophecy/Anti-Christ. This is apparently a series of videos posted by an individual who has found very disturbing symbolism used in the music videos of various hip-hop artists. The first in the series is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5zmzrM05x78&feature=related I'm Jewish and I don't have the same beliefs as Christians regarding the End of Days, But I believe that evil exists and we sometimes need to join forces in order to fight that evil. This is...

A religious watchdog group says a cross and motto on the emblem of an Army hospital in Colorado violate the constitutional requirement for separation of church and state and should be removed. The Military Religious Freedom Foundation asked the Army this week to change the emblem of Evans Army Community Hospital at Fort Carson, outside Colorado Springs. The emblem says "Pro deo et humanitate" or "For God and humanity." Fort Carson commanders will review the complaint, Lt. Col. Steve Wollman said. He said the emblem had been approved by the Army Institute of Heraldry and has been in use since...

WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama on Monday offered a fresh package of aid to small businesses — "the heart of the American economy" — in an aggressive push to get big banks that got federal bailout money to do more lending to these struggling entrepreneurs. "You deserve a chance. America needs you to have that chance," Obama told small business owners gathered in the White House East Room as the administration detailed various steps to get credit flowing to small businesses. With Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner by his side, Obama said the nation has small businesses to thank for many...

Barack Obama sure likes his symbolism. Who can ever forget the hopeful rising sun coming up over a horizon of stripes, suggesting a new day of change coming? Or the Obama for President seal, complete with a spread-eagled eagle, heart filled with the hope of Obama's first seal? And certainly not the self-adulatory hubris of the Office of the President Elect. Today President Obama unleashed the latest creation of his egomaniacal mind, a stamp that will forever glorify (and transform, I'm sure) all the wasteful projects stemming from his porkulus spending bill, ARRA. President Obama announced today that his administration...

When The One famously said, "I decided I won't wear that pin in on my chest. Instead, I'm going to try to tell the American people what I believe will make this country great, and hopefully that will be a testament to my patriotism," he decided that his kind of patriotism did not involve displaying the American flag on his lapel. His choice.Of course, within days, he had that pesky little bugger back on his jacket. (Political Expedience 101).But that was the traditional, everyday, run-of-the-mill American flag - the kind with 13 red and white stripes and fifty stars. (Ho hum)....
