Bi-Partisan Seating Plan is Crap Symbolism at its Worst

Gag me. After the tragic shooting in Arizona, the calls from the state-run media are to “calm the rhetoric” and “can’t we just all get along?” You see, the state-run Media, in its infinite wisdom and supreme knowledge, has decided that the horrible actions of a lone shooter, which had absolutely nothing to do with politics and everything to do with a crazed state of mind, should now cause our politicians (mainly Republicans, of course) to calm their rhetoric. Because somehow our Nation’s political discourse affected this crazed lunatic who doesn’t read the news or follow politics. Wrap your head around that one.

Now, in a puppies and rainbows show of a “unity” that does not exist, some Democrats and Republicans are proposing a break with tradition by not sitting in their traditional seats during the State of the Union.

If repubs fall for this, I may have to become a democrat.

This is very simply a sneaky plan to not show the republican majority. If they’re scattered all over the place it’ll look more evenly split. Plus, if the democrats give a standing ovation, and I’m sure there will be many, the republicans will feel forced to stand as well showing they all love the messiah.

There are TWO areas that trouble me about ZERO's upcoming SOTU Speech and the suggestion that the Republicans sit with the democRATs.

1.) It will make the democRAT minority appear LARGER on camera and therefore they didn't lose in the November elections by as much as they did.

2.) The inevitable CHEERLEADING that the LEFT will do, will appear on camera as coming from everyone and not only the democRATs.

The question is, will the Republicans be STUPID enough to sit with the democRATs to make the democRATs look good ?

Ok, if several Repubs surround Pelosi and fart incessantly to the point of gagging her, this would be a great idea.

But of course you KNOW McCain is all for it. I KNOW that if there was a 50-50 split in the senate he would, once again, call for c-chairmenships. Man, I wish he’d go away. Not calling for violence! Just go away!

The dims want this for two reasons.

1. The state of the union is on tv and the dims don’t want the appearance that they are so small in numbers and the repubs way outnumber them.

2. They dims want to give the impression that the house of representatives support obama in his prescriptions for this country’s problems.

The state of the union has become the obama show. His speech will be full of cotton candy and incomprehensible sentences spiked with insults and threats to his opposition.

Think of how much more unifying it would be if every Democrat politician were to resign immediately.

The one thing we learned this week is that the left will stop at nothing, and cannot be trusted by any normal thinking human being.

So - I guess - anything suggested by these same liars - should be a no.

As in “you will be lucky if we show up for the speach”.

Heard the Majority whip say he looks forward to it.

This is sad.

I thought we elected them to lead, not bow to the Democrats.
