Friends of Swinney Switch VFD set ice cream social The Friends of the Swinney Switch Volunteer Fire Department (FSSVFD) will hold their second annual homemade ice cream social on Saturday, July 18, from 5-8 p.m. at the Swinney Switch Center, Live Oak County Annex, 904 FM 3024, in Swinney Switch. Along with a variety of ice creams and toppings, baked goods and refreshments can be purchased. Ice cream, with toppings, will be sold for $1, $3 and $5 per bowl, and baked goods will be $1 each.
